Lee D’Amato is a writer born, raised, and based in Queens, New York. With collective thousands of hours in games like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Elden Ring, and The Legend of Zelda, he's now writes game features, guides, and reviews for Screen Rant, but has covered a wide range of topics, including ancient history, affordable travel, and overall health.

February 2026 is fast approaching, which means a new crop of Xbox Game Pass titles is incoming. Now available for Xbox consoles, PC, and cloud streaming on a variety of different devices, Game Pass provides an ever-shifting library of games for subscribers, from day-one releases to Xbox classics.

With every new month, there's a series of new additions to Game Pass. February's an interesting one, with a couple of brand-new games, some recent indie hits, and a divisive entry in one of the most iconic RPG series of all time. Here's everything we know is coming to Game Pass in February 2026, and everything that's leaving.

The first release of the month is Indika, a cinematic, narrative-based game in which you play as a nun in 19th-century Russia. But this nun hears the voice of the Devil, and in short order, things get very surreal. Realistic exploration segments are juxtaposed with 2D arcade mini-games for an unique that Screen Rant's Leo Faierman called "an intimate and stimulating experience that sticks around long after it's over."

Up next is Final Fantasy 2 Pixel Remaster, Square Enix's 2021 retro-styled remake of the 1988 classic. In many ways, FF2 is the black sheep of the franchise, with an unusual leveling system that's divided fans for the better part of 40 years. Still, if you're a Final Fantasy fan, it's worth checking out. FF2 joins the original Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster on Game Pass.

February 5 marks Game Pass' first day-one release of the month: the turn-based tactical mech RPG Menace. You'll control groups of units, upgrade your armory, and battle against invading aliens across a series of intense strategic struggles.

On February 13, Game Pass subscribers get another day-one game: High on Life 2, a sequel to the 2022 FPS. Following the plot of the first game, players will set ff on another adventure across the galaxy, collecting chatty, sentient gun-aliens called Gatlians along the way. Players can now talk back to their guns using a system of dialogue options in this irreverent sequel.

Finally, Death Howl comes to consoles via Game Pass on February 19, following its release on PC Game Pass back in December. This is a deckbuilding game with a gloomy pixel art style where you play as a hunter who hopes to avenge the death of her son through a series of grid-based battles with over 160 cards to collect.
