Xbox Game Pass is adding a brand-new game to its catalog on June 30, and players already consider it an “absolute blast” of a title, so you may want to mark your calendar for its arrival. It’s been a busy month for Microsoft’s subscription service. One of the first games added was Final Fantasy 6, also considered one of the best RPGs, if not games, ever made. A few days later, Xbox Game Pass got a huge JRPG with over 140 hours of gameplay to offer, which is also widely considered one of the best in the genre.
The service continues to expand, and more titles are arriving soon as part of the Wave 2 additions to the catalog in June. As was announced via a post on the official Xbox Wire website, six new games are arriving in the following weeks. There are titles for every type of player, like shooters and sports games, but one of the new additions to the service is already standing out, mainly due to how well it’s performed on other platforms.
The first free games for Xbox Game Pass in July were announced, but one day before the next month, on June 30, the service is going to receive a hit indie game called RV There Yet?. The title, developed and published by Nuggets Entertainment will be playable on consoles (Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S), PC, and via cloud gaming. The title will be accessible for members of the Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass tiers.
RV There Yet? is a co-op adventure game where you and your friends will manage and drive an RV motorhome across the wilderness, making your way back home after a vacation. However, you’ll be forced to take an alternative route in the Mabutts Valley, which is full of dangers. You and your friends will have to coordinate to make it home in one piece in this day-one release on Xbox Game Pass – while the game has been released on other platforms, like Steam, it debuts on Xbox on June 30.
As is showcased by the comment section of the game on Steam, it is beloved by players. User Koki, for instance, calls it an “absolute blast” to play with friends or even meet new players. They highlight the humorous and cozy aspects of the game. RoyXit mentions that the game “creates plenty of memorable and often hilarious moments,” which is the very foundation of the many successful friendslop games of late.
On Steam, RV There Yet? boasts an 89% approval rate from players, showing just how much fun it has to offer. Now, players on other platforms will be able to partake in the fun, and members of Xbox Game Pass will be able to do so for free, without having to pay for anything extra.
