- Wonder Project is now available on Prime Video for $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year
- The studio aims to "shape the future of faith and values entertainment"
- Currently has 125+ "values-driven" titles with no ads
Look out, Prime Video subscribers – Wonder Project is the brand-new subscription add-on on the scene, and it's trying something different.
Unlike other add-ons such as Starz or Hallmark+, Wonder Project is specifically making a beeline for what it describes as "values-driven" content. As its mission statement explains, it makes movies and TV shows about "stories that inspire hope and restore faith". "With bold new original films and series, and edited versions of movie favorites, Wonder Project is here to bring your family meaningful entertainment you can trust."
Still not sure what that exactly means? In a nutshell, Wonder Project is going to host a lot of PG-friendly, wholesome content that is occasionally completely faith-based (more on that in a bit). Prime Video subscribers can get it as an add-on for $8.99 per month, or – like many of the best streaming deals – you can save by signing up for a year for $89.99, which represents a 17% discount.
Is a Wonder Project subscription on Prime Video worth it?
House of David - Official Trailer | Prime Video - YouTube
Let's drill a bit further down into what Wonder Project is offering. To start with, there's more than 125 titles available to stream at the click of a button, ranging from instant classics like The Sound of Music to cult hits that flew under the radar such as Friday Night Lights.
The jewel in Wonder Project's crown is House of David, the biblical historical drama that follows the infamous battle between David vs. Goliath. It's had over 44 million views so far and rocketed to number one on Prime Video's US charts, so clearly, we've been missing out on something magic.
According to Variety, Wonder Project also hosts “edited versions of movie favorites,” which essentially means TV-edited versions that would be shown on broadcast or basic cable. Again, this is part of the brand's commitment to family co-viewing, so think clean versions of Dead Poets Society, American Underdog and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

If that's not enough, a number of Wonder Project originals will be landing on Prime Video over the next few months and into 2026. Redemption, For King + Country: No Turning Back, A Winter’s Song, an untitled Christmas special hosted by Kimberly Schlapman (title TBA), Fighting Spirit: A Combat Chaplain’s Journey, Adventure in Wonder, Sarah’s Oil, It’s Not Like That and Young Washington are all still to come, ranging from movies and limited series to specials and documentaries.
If you've been struggling to find Amazon content that works for the whole family, I think Wonder Project could be a great addition to your streaming experience. It's foolproof safety on a broad scale, and if faith isn't your think, it doesn't feel too in-your-face. Besides, there's only so many times you can sit through Moana 2, right?
