Pink Speaks Out Amid Carey Hart Breakup Rumors
Meeting halfway hasn’t always been easy for Josh Duhamel and Fergie.
The Transformers actor—who shares son Axl Jack Duhamel, 12, with the “Fergalicious” singer—offered new insight into their 2017 breakup, explaining that his divorce from his ex-wife was largely caused by their conflicting outlooks on life.
“We’re very different,” he explained on the March 2 episode of the Skinny Confidential podcast. “Fergie and I, we have different views of the world. And that’s OK.”
Despite holding contrasting values, Josh, 53, insisted he has “no regrets” about his marriage to the 50-year-old, highlighting their strong co-parenting dynamic as well as Fergie’s friendly dynamic with his wife Audra Mari, whom he wed in 2022.
“She’s a great mom,” he said of his ex. “[She’s] very kind, very non-confrontational—thank God—so we have a good relationship. She and Audra have a great relationship.”
Josh—who is also dad to son Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel, 2, with Audra—previously detailed the demise of his relationship with Fergie in October 2023, admitting that the public interest in their romance was something he never quite “got comfortable” with.
“It was a lot,” he said during an appearance on In Depth with Graham Bensinger at the time. “I missed the simplicity of who I really am.”
But since going their separate ways, Josh and Fergie have evidently stayed on good terms. After all, he has frequently commended the Black Eyed Peas alum for always putting family first.

“Fergie is an amazing woman. She really is,” he said on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show in September 2023. “She's taken Audra in. And it could be much worse. That's the thing, you never know how these things are gonna go.”
And for her part, the Grammy winner has heralded Josh as “a good co-parenting partner.”
“We're all love and we love each other,” she told Entertainment Tonight in June 2018. “We're all cool and just a family.”
