Zach Bryan's Ex Brianna LaPaglia Speaks Out on Feeling "Discarded" Amid Breakup News
It’s quittin’ time for Brianna LaPaglia sharing on social media.
Indeed, the Barstool Sports personality, also known as Brianna Chickenfry, recently detailed why her split with Zack Bryan has led her to live more privately.
“Not allowing the internet to take over my personal relationships anymore,” Brianna wrote in an Oct. 30 Instagram Story. “Need to set some boundaries and keep some things to myself.”
The 25-year-old shared the post shortly after fans speculated that there was a rift between her and Barstool cohost Grace O’Malley, due to Brianna not wishing her a happy birthday online—which Brianna went on to shut down.
“I’m not interested in sharing my personal relationships online anymore because the internet wants so badly to ruin them all,” Brianna wrote in a separate Instagram post. “Grace has been like a sister since I was 15 years old. I wished her a happy birthday privately.”
Brianna—who also revealed she has been off TikTok for “months”—noted that her firm boundary setting comes amid a difficult time.
“I’m sorry, but I’m having a week from hell and I’m tired of having to feel the need to explain myself to people who don’t know me,” she added. “Love ya guys and that’s really all there is to it.”
The BFFs podcast cohost has been open about her difficult life transition following her breakup with the country singer—revealing last week that she was taking a social media break altogether.
“I’m feeling really blindsided right now,” Brianna wrote in a cryptic Oct. 22 post shortly after Zach had announced the former couple’s breakup. “Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk.”

Brianna and Zach’s split came after many fans speculated the “Something in the Orange” singer and the Boston native had quietly gone their separate ways.
“Brianna and me have broken up with eachother [sic] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” Zach wrote in an Oct. 22 Instagram post. “I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”
Ironically, shortly before the split was publicly confirmed, Brianna warned against dating celebrities.
"Literally never wanted to and then it kinda just happened,” Brianna explained on Haliey Welch’s Talk Tuah podcast Oct. 22. “Don't date famous people. I think it’s better for the mental to not date someone famous. It’s a lot.”
