The LG C5 is one of the very best TVs you can buy in 2025, and the 55-inch model dropped to an exceptionally low price on Prime Day: down to just $1,296.99 from $1,999.99 on Amazon.

Prime Day may be over, but this deal is still live. And that means you can get a significant saving on LG's rather brilliant OLED. Its predecessor, the C4, topped our best TVs guide for months. The C5 is even better.

Why the LG C5 is a five-star buy

We really rate the LG OLED TVs, and the C5 earned the full five stars in our LG C5 review thanks to its superb picture quality, excellent gaming performance and its AI-powered Smart TV features. LG's webOS is one of the very best smart TV platforms around, and it complements the hardware beautifully.

The C5 builds upon everything good about the C4 – its picture quality, excellent color reproduction, and value for money – and improves upon it. The OLED panel is brighter. The AI processor is more powerful. And it's one of the best gaming TVs of 2025 thanks to its full complement of gaming-friendly features, including 4K 144Hz, VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision gaming. There are also cloud gaming options if you don't have or don't want a console.

As we said in our review, "LG C-series OLEDs are regularly among the best TVs when it comes to value for money. While pricey at launch, they will become more affordable over time as prices drop."

And that prediction has come true with the deal listed above, which gives you a lot of TV for a lot less money: the original price of this 15-inch was $1,999.99. That makes this a genuinely good deal on a great OLED TV.
