Who's The Boss? actor Danny Pintauro said he's been working a side job delivering packages amid a work slowdown in the Los Angeles entertainment industry.
The Milltown, New Jersey-born actor, 50, took to Instagram Wednesday with a selfie while he was on the job, saying he was keeping busy while patiently waiting for his next gig in Hollywood.
Pintauro - who as a child played Jonathan Bower on all eight seasons of the show - captioned the selfie to nearly 27,000 followers, 'Working hard while "not working."
'The entertainment business has been soooo slow, so I’ve been doing what a lot of people do - figuring it out, showing up, and taking the work that’s there while I keep building the work I really want.'
Pintauro, who appeared on the 80s ABC sitcom opposite Tony Danza, Judith Light, Alyssa Milano and the late Katherine Helmond, said that he had delivered a total of 38 packages on a busy Wednesday.
The actor, who also played Tad Trenton in 1983's Cujo, said that 'there’s no shame in staying in motion' and making an honest day's pay while keeping another eye on his ongoing career in show business.

The actor's day job comes at a time in which the Southern California entertainment industry has been notably slow.
Los Angeles's geographic dominance over the entertainment industry has been waning, according to a January report from The Hollywood Reporter, which pointed to a number of reasons as to why.
One of the factors in play was a lack of work combined with high rents, driving performers and productions out of the area.
Big budget superhero films are predominantly filmed in London, chipping away at another traditional Tinseltown revenue stream, THR reported.
New York has continued to grow from a position of strength in attracting actors and studios, the publication reported, as neighboring New Jersey has inked lucrative deals with studios such as Netflix, Paramount and Lionsgate.
New Mexico, Illinois, Georgia and Louisiana are among the states seeking to lure prospective studios with tax-related incentives, further eroding Hollywood's bottom line.
Amid changing times, the Los Angeles-based studios, left with vacancies by people and companies taking their business out of the area, have been renting out to influencers in a bid to recoup lost income, according to the report.
