Dancing On ice fans were left fuming and slammed the judges after Chris Taylor and pro partner Robin Johnstone become the latest couple eliminated from the competition on Sunday.
The Love Island star, 34, found himself in the bottom two with Anton Ferdinand, 39, and partner Annette Dytrt, as the dreaded skate off returned after four weeks and both couples were forced to perform again for the judges.
Jordan Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean all chose to unanimously save former footballer Anton, with viewers quick to blast the 'ridiculous' decision.
Christopher said he was sad to see his namesake leave the competition after claiming this week had seen his 'best perfomance yet', but the judges pointed out Anton's routine was 'quicker' and 'more professional'.
Chris' time on the show has not been smooth sailing after original partner Vanessa Bauer, 28, was forced to quit last week due to injury before Robin was ushered in just 24-hours before the live show.
Rushing to X fans said: 'I love Anton but even with the mistake I thought Chris's routine was far better. Chris was doing moves that looked a lot more difficult so I don't know what the judges are on about there': 'Chris did not deserve to go one bit! Bringing the skate off back now is stupid. Chris was trying new things I'd never seen before each week!'.

'Totally wrong decision in my view': 'I loves Chris's routine tonight but it wasn't difficult enough,Molly was the worst though': 'What on earth were the judges watching!! Chris by far the better skater, more fluid, better posture !! Absolute disgrace': 'Ridiculous result': 'No way should Chris have left. He was by far better. Switched off and won't be watching again'.
Earlier in the show Stephen Mulhern left co-host Holly Willoughby speechless with a very racy quip.
The ex This Morning star's mouth fell open in horror when her pal pretended to miss hear after she revealed contestant Chris was dancing to the song 'Golden Hour'.
Stephen, 47, acted shocked by the revelation, jokingly thinking that Holly, 43, had been referencing an X-rated sex act.
Stunned Holly gasped when it dawned on her, before the camera cut away to see the Love Island star and his partner rehearsing before they took to the ice.
After Vanessa's exit due to a torn ligament, Chris was hastily partnered with Robin, but last week's performance was overshadowed after the new partnership lost their footing and tumbled onto the ice before regaining their composure and completing the routine.
Sharing the news of her injury in an Instagram video, Vanessa said: 'I'm here today with rather upsetting news. I am unfortunately not going to be able to continue on Dancing on Ice with Chris.
'That's really upsetting for me. I have trained Chris since October last year and it is always such an amazing achievement for myself to see someone else progress so much in a skill they've never done before.

'So it's been really rewarding for me to watch this whole journey for Chris [and] the way he's got better week since October and also since the live shows started.'
'And I didn't realise how bad it was then, but we did an MRI and it turned out that I have a completely torn ligament, grade three sprain injury and a major grade two sprain injury.
'I shouldn't be skating on an injury like that and so I'm taking all of the advice from the medical professionals here, I am in very good hands.'
Revealing she would be undergoing rehab for her injury, Vanessa added: 'My pain threshold, I don't trust it, I have been skating this whole week with a lot of pain but I just didn't realise that it was such a significant injury so I didn't voice my pain

'It just goes to show that you should listen to your body and try to tune into your body a lot.
'I don't want this injury that is already bad to get even worse and so the one sensible decision is to step away, do rehab, focus on my health - I guess mental health as well - because it's really bad that I have to leave.
'But I'm excited to get better and to get back to skating properly every single day.'
MailOnline has contacted ITV for a comment.
Meanwhile EastEnders actor Charlie Brooks, 43, was left without a partner after their professional dancer Eric Radford had to pull out due to an injury.
Announcing the news, Dancing On Ice's official X account revealed that he sustained his injury during rehearsals.
Alongside a picture of the pro skater, the account penned: 'Unfortunately, Eric Radford has sustained an injury during rehearsals.
'Following medical advice, he will not be able to skate with Charlie Brooks this week. Brendyn Hatfield will skate with Charlie.
'We wish Eric a quick recovery and hope to see him back on the ice next week.'

With the German skater absent, Chris was hastily partnered with Robin for his Pokemon-themed routine, but the pair lost their footing on the ice
It believed that Eric sustained a back injury and was rushed to the hospital for an MRI scan.
Speaking about the shock injury, Charlie told the Sun: 'Eric had an injury in his back and then his quad wasn't firing properly so he's having to have an MRI and has been told he has to have this week off the ice, which is so gutting.
'It's such a shame, he's my number one and I will be lost without him.
'But I'm trying to flip it and think that it will be exciting to be able to skate with someone else, and Brendyn is wicked so it will be nice to get to know him a little bit.'
