Who is Samantha Fox's wife Linda Olsen? Meet the very private mum-of-two after the Page 3 icon was cleared of assaulting her during 'drunken bust-up' on a flight

Samantha Fox was cleared this week of assaulting her wife Linda Olsen on a British Airways flight, with prosecutors dropping the charges.

The former Page 3 icon, 58, stood trial at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Monday after reportedly assaulting Linda on a flight from Heathrow to Munich on December 3 2023 - which she denied. 

Sam had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and using threatening behaviour, causing harassment, alarm or distress to a police constable during a court hearing in April, and was consequently handed a community order during this week's trial.

Though Sam wasn't pictured with Linda as she appeared in court, it's reported that the couple, who tied the knot in 2022, are still very much together.

Who is Sam Fox's wife Linda? 

Linda Birgitte Olsen is a tour manager hailing from Norway, who leads a relatively private life.

The brunette, who was born in 1976, met began dating Sam in 2016 following the death of the star's partner Myra Stratton from cancer.

The former glamour model, who suffered a cancer scare herself two years ago after finding a lump in her vocal cords, announced in 2018 she had finally found love again with the Norwegian single mother-of-two.

The couple met a meet and greet for the singer, with Linda being a big fan of the star's work. 

It was Linda who got down on one knee to Sam, prosing to the blonde bombshell in February 2020. 

Speaking after on Loose Women after the wedding, Sam and Linda said they had an 'instant connection' from the moment they first met.

Sam shared: 'I've met a few of my heroes and was very disappointed....but thank God she wasn't. And thank God I'm not that kind of person!' 

Sam also previously spoke about her relationship with Olsen after she left the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2017.

'I've now [fallen] in love with another woman,' she said.

'I met somebody a couple of months ago and I'm very happy. As you get older life goes so quick.'

She also discussed her sexuality whilst inside the house, and said she hadn't fallen in love with a woman until she met Myra. 

When did they get married?

Linda and Sam tied the knot in a lavish Eurovision Song Contest-themed ceremony at the Kings Oak Hotel in Epping Forest, Essex, in June 2022.

Sam later revealed the brides stuck to tradition and didn't see each other the night before the big day. 

Sam looked incredible in a strapless white bridal gown at her wedding party, which saw the happy couple cut into a pink three-tier cake, with performances from Norwegian pop duo Bobbysocks - consisting of bandmembers Elisabeth (Bettan) Andreassen and Hanne Krogh. Lisa Stokke also performed. 

She arrived at the ceremony in a white taxi decorated with pink ribbons and a stunning blush heart-shaped floral arrangement on the bonnet, while the number plate read 'Sam and Linda are getting married, 18th June 2022'.

They were forced to postpone their 2020 wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The former model was given away by her mother Carole and stepfather Colin, who walked her down the aisle on crutches after recently breaking his femur.

Sam and Linda's engagement was announced in March 2020, with a source telling The Sun at the time: 'Sam and Linda are so happy together and want to spend the rest of their lives together. They're so in love and want to make it official.' 

Does Linda have children?

Linda has twin sons Adam and Noah, 22, from a previous relationship. Their father is unknown.

Adam and Noah were bursting with pride as they both walked their mum down the aisle when she married Sam in 2022. 

Though she's relatively private, Linda annually takes the opportunity to pay tribute her boys on their birthday in December, sharing a plethora of snaps of them through the years.

Sam previously said she considers herself a 'bonus mum' to Linda's two sons, rather than a stepmother as she thinks the term too 'Cinderella'. 

Who did Sam date before Linda? 

Sam's wedding to Linda came six years after she lost her beloved long term girlfriend of 12 years, Myra Stratton, to cancer. 

Myra was diagnosed with cancer in 2013, before eventually succumbing to the disease in August 2015. 

Myra, 60, was also Sam's manager and the pop star confirmed her sexuality publicly the year they started dating. 

Speaking on This Morning in April 2016, Sam said of her grief and Myra's loss: It's been a tough few years.

'The suffering is over… suffered for a good two years. She was told she was terminal two years before she died, so that was the most difficult time, the two years leading up to her death.'

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star originally announced the sad news of Myra's passing on her Instagram page last summer, writing: 'I will always love you.'

Sam has had a string of famous ex's before her marriage to Linda, including serial swindler Peter Foster, who cheated on the model and sold the story of their sex life to a tabloid newspaper

She also dated Kiss guitarist and co-lead singer Paul Stanley briefly in the late 80s.
