American Idol is having quite the season this year. After an “unprecedented” delay in voting results made headlines last week, host Ryan Seacrest was finally able to reveal who was voted off the show. During the April 6 episode, three people in total went home.

Ryan shocked audiences across the nation on March 30 when he revealed that voting numbers got so close that they couldn’t announce the names.

“To ensure complete accuracy with the numbers, I was literally just told we are not going to announce eliminations tonight,” he said.

Who Got Voted Off American Idol Last Night?

Julian Kalél, Jake Thistle and Jesse Findling were eliminated during the April 6 Idol episode. Julian and Jake were supposed to be voted off last week, but the vote was too close to call.

“Last week, your votes came in an unprecedented way,” Ryan told the audience before revealing that Julian and Jake were sent home. “We held off on your results to make sure every vote was counted. I’ve got them here in my hand, and we’re about to find out who makes your Top 12. I can tell you that the vote was incredibly close.”
