Where to Preorder Magic: The Gathering’s Reality Fracture Expansion (Out This Week!)

6 days ago 8

Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture set launches this week, and despite the fact that we're leaving Middle-Earth behind and have Star Trek yet to come, this feels like the most exciting Magic set on the horizon — Universes Beyond or Universes Within.

MTG Reality Fracture is Selling Out Fast

The set sees Jace Beleren reshaping the multiverse to what he feels it should be, twisting new versions of iconic characters and cards in the process. There are also some neat lore implications to this "Echoverse", including Strixhaven's schools being twisted into Hexhaven versions.

The set arrived in prerelease this weekend (September 26-27), with full launch just days away on October 2. Here's what you can preorder, and what's included.

Notably, Amazon is currently out of stock of everything Reality Fracture, so you may have to look elsewhere, like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or resellers at TCGplayer, to find boosters or sealed boxes in stock.

Play Boosters

Bundle

Looking for a series of boosters without buying a whole box? The bundle is worth a look. These include 9 Play Boosters, a promo card, and full-art lands.

You’ll also find a storage box and a spindown die, all up for preorder at $57.99. Think of these a little like the "Fat Packs" of old.

Draft Night

Draft Night

Draft Night is becoming pretty popular in 2026, appearing a few times already this year, and this Reality Fracture version is the same concept.

The $89.99 box includes 12 Play Boosters to build a deck for up to four players, as well as 90 lands. The winner can claim a Collector Booster, which, as we’ve already mentioned, remains elusive.

Reality Fracture Feature First Four-Color Commander Deck in Years

Commander Precon

Commander Precon

For the first time in a long time, we’re getting a four-color Commander precon with the set dubbed Multiverse Reforged.

It’s helmed by Jace, but includes alternate reality versions of Magic creatures. You could preorder it for $49.99, but that price is climbing closer to launch.

Part of that is due to the card list, which includes cool new versions of cards like Ob Nixilis, the Ascended, Omnath, Locus of the Void, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. It also plays pretty well from early reviews!
