One of the special skills you can master in The Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy is Swordsmanship. As you hone this skill, you’ll quickly want to unlock a better Sword to use, and one of the best ways to do so is by visiting the Blacksmith.
By default, you’re only given a measly Wooden Sword to use. It’s not great, so acquiring a better option as soon as possible is crucial. Ondarion is a vast world with many lots to see, so it can be tricky to find the store you’re seeking the first time around. Here’s where to find the Blacksmith in The Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy expansion pack.
Blacksmith Workshop location in The Sims 4
The Blacksmith can be found in the Verdemar neighborhood of Ondarion in The Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy expansion pack. This is the region situated in the upper left corner of the map. You’re looking for a tan building with a light red roof. This shop also has some anvil signs on the front and side of it, some swords displayed at the front, two practice dummies you can train against, and a furnace in the courtyard next to it.
You can access this lot by traveling to any of the available locations around Verdemar. I’ve found that visiting the Ye Old Voyager bar lot is generally the easiest spot to start at, though. From this lot, have your Sim walk up the ramp to the right or up the stairs to the left to access the small courtyard area where the Blacksmith can be found. It’s also right by a gazebo you can interact with to enter a Swordsmanship Tournament.

Each one costs a varying amount of Simoleons and requires your Sim to be at a different skill level of Swordsmanship to unlock. All of the items you can buy from here are as follows.
| Wooden Sword | 70 Simoleons | 0 |
| Classic Longsword | 230 Simoleons | 2 |
| Bellacorde Rapier | 325 Simoleons | 5 |
| Dambele Saber | 325 Simoleons | 5 |

How to get Swords in The Sims 4
You can aquire Swords by visiting the Blacksmith or exploring Ondarion in The Sims 4. A selection of Swords is available to buy from this shop, but there are many others that can only be found by venturing around the world and tackling other tasks.
Simcalibur, for example, is a sword you must pull out of a stone in the courtyard by the Ye Old Voyager bar in Verdemar. You have to meet certain conditions to successfully free it, though, and some of the other Swords you can get your hands on around the world also have certain prerequisites. The only fast and easy way to get your hands on a Sword is by visiting the Blacksmith once you have the right skill level to buy the one you’re after.
