The gypsy nuptials of Tyson Fury’s daughter Venezuela to boxer Noah Price had a touch of everything.
Liberal amounts of fake tan, terrifying nails – or talons – a 12ft blue-and-yellow wedding cake, a brawl, a Crocs-wearing bride in a gown with a 50ft train, four police cars, Peter Andre and a Netflix camera crew for good measure.
But behind the glitz of the £35,000 wedding on the Isle of Man on Saturday, tensions were brewing among the boxing-family dynasty. There was one question on the lips of their 120 guests: Where were the bride’s grandparents and her uncle Tommy Fury?
Grandfather John Fury and grandmother Amber were conspicuously absent – nor did John’s second wife, Chantal, or uncle Tommy Fury show up.
Whispers of a family feud have been rife in preparations for the wedding between 16-year-old Venezuela and her new husband, Noah, 19, as a bitter rift between Tyson and his father John has reportedly been forming.
Relations between the two men have been strained since Tyson announced his decision to come out of retirement from boxing in January.
The two-time champion wanted one last shot at the world heavyweight title. John, his former trainer, was dead against it.
Father and son traded insults over the decision, and in the second series of their Netflix documentary, At Home with the Furys, John pulled no (proverbial) punches.
He said: ‘I think he’s past his best. I’m a no-filter kind of guy – I say it how I see it. I love him, but there are too many people patting him on the back and telling him things that aren’t true, building him up like he’s invincible. He’s not and he hasn’t been for a while.’

He continued: ‘My relationship with Tyson is destroyed. Boxing destroyed it completely. I’ll say it on camera: I’ve never taken £10 off him in my life and I never will. I don’t want Tyson’s money and I don’t need Tyson’s money. ... Don’t forget who built his story ... Me, his father.’
For his part, Tyson said his dad was entitled to his opinion - but wouldn’t budge on his return to the ring.
To add fuel to the fire, John was equally forthright in his judgement when it came to his granddaughter’s engagement to amateur boxer Price.
He, in no uncertain terms spoke of his disapproval of the upcoming teenage nuptials and said that Venezuela, who is young enough to be taking her GCSEs (but following Traveller tradition, she left school aged 11), shouldn’t even have a boyfriend.
‘They’re children!’ he exclaimed. ‘I don’t think she’s mature enough for anything like that – she’s still a baby.’
While Tyson’s younger half-brother Tommy Fury was nowhere to be seen, his influencer girlfriend Molly Mae made a whistlestop visit for the ceremony to allow their three-year-old daughter Bambi to be a bridesmaid for the day.
While mother of the bride Paris Fury praised Molly Mae for making the trip, the heavily-pregnant Love Island star left early, being whisked away by a £15,000 chartered private jet shortly after the first dance, having arguably never looked entirely comfortable in the Furys’company throughout the wedding.
The official line for Tommy’s absence was that he was at a boxing training camp in Manchester, which surprised many at the wedding.
Eyebrows were raised even further when less than 24 hours later, Tommy was pictured walking out and about with Molly-Mae and Bambi.
A source said: ‘It was odd that Molly-Mae made the effort but not Tommy, who is [Venezuela’s] uncle, although Molly-Mae was barely there and she hid behind an umbrella when she arrived.
John Fury, Tyson's father, did not attend the wedding – as a bitter feud has reportedly been forming between the pair

‘Officially Tommy was at a training camp but surely he could have spared half a day for the wedding – I think it underlines the level of the bust up.’
The wedding went ahead only because the Isle of Man allows 16-year-olds to get married providing they have the consent of their parents – which Tyson and Paris had happily given.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Anglican ceremony at the picturesque but rain lashed St John’s, the Venerable Irene Cowell, a former nurse and now the archdeacon of the Isle of Man, confirmed all the legal requirements had been met.
She told the Daily Mail the marriage service was ‘taking place in accordance with Manx law’.
Rev Cowell added that ‘pastoral support had been provided to the couple and their families in preparation’ for the marriage, and explained that the emphasis of the service, which was conducted by her colleague Rev Joana Fisher, would be on ‘commitment, prayer and the beginning of married life together’.
Tyson and Paris were happy to welcome friends and relatives to the ceremony which took place just a few miles from their £8 million, nine-acre country estate, close to the twee harbour village of Peel, where Tyson, said to be worth £162million, now lives as a tax exile.
But there was surprise among visiting tourists who were turned away from the Chapel of St John’s on Saturday – with many having made a special journey to view the ornate interior.
One holidaymaker pointed out to the Daily Mail that the hydrangeas and ranunculus flowers in the arches over the side and main door were in fact fake – although the yellow roses were real.
No expense had been spared though, for Venezuela’s custom made £5,000 Italian lace fishtail wedding gown from Liverpool based designers Ava Rose Hamilton – complete with a 50ft train.
The train’s length did cause a minor hiccup on Saturday as Venezuela - wearing white Crocs and holding her mobile phone – was trod on by an assistant and then her dad Tyson.
He was heard quipping to wife Paris: ‘Blimey, you weren’t joking, Paris, when you said it had a 50ft train.’
Speaking ahead of the wedding, Venezuela had explained: ‘I didn’t want to look like my Big, Fat Gypsy Wedding.
The couple showed off their new wedding rings as they were driven away from the church after the ceremony
Venezuela's uncle Tommy Fury was also conspicuously absent from the day – though the official line was that he was at a training camp
‘I didn’t want sparkles; I didn’t want the 100-metre round perimeter dress. I described what I wanted, and it was as if they could see what was in my mind.’
But for the other guests, there was certainly an over-the-top theme to the outfits, with women trying to outdo each other over the size of their hats, while the men sported the same uniform of close-fitting trousers and shirts. Fake tan was a must.
There was even a touch of comedy ahead of the service as one of Noah’s guests emerged from the church to offer everyone there a ‘one off special deal on caravans’ if anyone was interested.
Back at the reception in the four-star Comis Hotel guests tucked into a three-course meal with a vegetable soup starter, Manx sirloin with all the trimmings and a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Guests were blown away by the 12ft wedding blue and yellow iced wedding cake, which towered over Venezuela and was brought out midway through the evening just ahead of Peter Andre’s appearance as a special guest.
The singer opened his set with hit Mysterious Girl and was later seen warmly greeting Tyson and Paris as well as dancing with them.
Tyson gave an emotional speech to guests, holding a pint of Guinness, he said: ‘I’ve had a f****** very good time, excuse me, Venezuela and Noah, I told ya, you shouldn’t have done it, didn’t I.
‘But now you’ve done it, you’ve done it. I hope you have 45 healthy children and a long life of happiness and love.’
Then paying tribute to his wife Paris, he added: ‘If you are anything like me and my wife, we are best friends and soulmates, been together all our lives, nearly more than we’ve not been together, so be like us.’
Wine and beer were provided with the meal, but Tyson had made it clear there would be no free bar as he wanted to avoid any unruly behaviour.
Sadly his wishes went unfulfilled.
Shortly after the speeches, police were called to the hotel after reports of a brawl involving a guest saw four police cars race to the hotel just after 9.30pm
The Daily Mail was on hand to exclusively capture the moment a man in his 20s was bundled into the back of a van – where at the same time a group of 75 members of the Porsche Club of Great Britain were having their annual Isle of Man get-together.

One guest who left early yesterday morning in his vintage 911 told the Daily Mail: ’There was a fight we heard, a small one and one man was arrested. I think the police turned up in numbers because of the background on the guests, to be on the safe side.
‘We were told two weeks ago that there would be a VIP wedding at the same time but not told who it was. The hotel said all efforts would be made to keep both parties apart (wristbands were handed out) and to be fair they did. There was a little bit of noise, but it was over by 1am. The next morning though when we got up for breakfast the place was a shambles, it was a real mess.
‘It’s a shame as we had booked the venue first, but it won’t let it stop us coming back.’
Staff at the hotel were keeping tight lipped: ’We’ve been told not to talk about what happened and we had to hand in mobile phones and not take any pictures, or we would lose our jobs,’ said one, while another revealed: ’There was a lot of drink taken and then the arguing and fighting started but it wasn’t anything too serious.’
Police on the island later confirmed a man had been cautioned for what is understood to be disorderly behaviour and he was released without charge early on Sunday morning – just as Tyson, looking a little worse for wear, emerged rubbing his hand over his head.
And what of Venezuela? She was pictured with Noah at Manchester airport early yesterday morning jetting off on a secret honeymoon.
