Khloe Kardashian Reveals What Mason Disick Really Thought of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'
Mason Disick may avoid the spotlight nowadays, but he still makes sure to keep up with his family.
Indeed, the 16-year-old son of Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Scott Disick started watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians a few years ago—and according to Khloe Kardashian, her nephew was quite amused by his family’s antics.
"I remember Scott texted us, maybe it was last year [or] could be two years ago tops, but I swear it was last year,” Khloe explained on the March 4 episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast while answering a question about when she’d let her kids watch the reality show. “Mason was... 14 or 15.”
And it’s safe to say he was a fan—bible.
“He just started watching all of Keeping Up and he was like, 'Wow, you guys were such a vibe.' And I'm like, 'Were? We're still a f--king vibe. Like, what are you talking about?'” the Good American founder recalled. “He loved it. He was so entertained by it.”
The 41-year-old also noted that Mason “was so surprised by so many of our personalities ‘cause we're obviously so different around the kids and now that we're older, too.”
But even though Mason had an enjoyable viewing experience, Khloe—who shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with ex Tristan Thompson—will be keeping her kids away from the show for a bit longer.
“I would say 14 or 15,” the mom of two admitted of the age she’d let her kids finally tune in. “Oh, that's going to be a tough one."

That’s not to say True and Tatum aren’t aware of the family’s TV presence nowadays. In fact, Khloe previously revealed her kids—who have been featured on the family's reality TV shows since they were born—both think cameras being around 24/7 is “nothing out of the ordinary.”
“They’re not asking a bunch of questions,” the Kardashians star said during a February episode of her podcast. “They know we shoot a TV show. They’ve never seen it. I don’t think they really know what that means.”
"Just like everyone’s recording these days with their phones, they don’t ask questions,” she continued, "and I’m not offering them all this information like, ‘We have a show on Hulu, number one reality show.’ Like, I’m not giving them a rundown on this. It’s normal for them to experience paparazzi. It’s strange, but that’s the norm. They’re not questioning it.”
The family’s TV show isn’t the only thing that Khloe has actively shielded her kids from. The reality star also revealed that she doesn’t allow her kids to be on social media.
“They don’t have the internet in any way,” Khloe said. “My kids don’t have Google. They don’t have anything like that.”
As for a phone, the podcast host plans to revisit the topic when her daughter gets a little older.
“I told her we can discuss her getting a phone on her 12th birthday,” Khloe shared. “That doesn’t mean she’ll get social media. That means she gets a phone. I don’t think kids should have social media until, I mean, I would love 16 [or] 17, but a phone we’re discussing on her 12th birthday.”
