What Kourtney Kardashian Was Up to During Met Gala 2026

Met Gala 2026 RECAP: Beyoncé's Big Return, Rihanna Shut the Carpet Down, & More DRAMATIC Looks!

ABCDEFG… Kourtney Kardashian had to go elsewhere.

Instead of attending the 2026 Met Gala with her sisters Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner, the Lemme founder opted to stay in Los Angeles for date night with husband Travis Barker

The Kardashians star posted a photo of their empty dinner plates in a May 4 Instagram Story, tagging Crossroads Kitchen and writing “husband date.”

She also revealed her and Travis’ alternative plans to fashion’s biggest night: Netflix is a Joke Festival. Another post showed that the couple made an appearance at comedian Shane Gillis’ show at the Hollywood Bowl, one of many events during the six-day fest.

Although Kourtney was absent from this year’s festivities, the Met Gala was still a big night for the Kardashian-Jenner clan, whose attending members paid tribute to iconic works of visual art through their “Fashion is Art”-inspired looks.

Kim arrived in a burnt orange hard-shelled piece with pointed nipples by Allen Jones, complete with an orange overskirt and nude heels. The look referenced Jones’ own Body Armour sculpture from 1978, which was also modeled by Kate Moss in 2013.

Meanwhile, the Jenner sisters took inspiration from Greek statues, with Kylie wearing a Schiaparelli number featuring a nude illusion corset bustier with fake nipples and Kendall donning an elegantly draped flesh-toned gown by GapStudio by Zac Posen.

Finally, everyone’s favorite momager Kris wore a copper and white kimono-inspired look from Dolce & Gabbana.

And while she may not have been at Met Gala 2026, Kourtney did reminisce on the first—and so far last—time she and the Blink-182 drummer graced the Met steps in an Instagram post on May 4.

Or rather, the mom of four—who shares son Rocky, 2, with Travis as well Mason, 15, Penelope, 12,  and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick—looked back on their post-Met festivities that year, posting their after party outfits which included a houndstooth black mini dress for her and a fringe ensemble for him. She wrote in the caption, “May 2, 2022 after party.”
