West Wilson NOT returning for season 11 of Summer House after bombshell Amanda Batula scandal

Summer House now has a vacancy. 

TMZ reports West Wilson won't be returning for season 11, with sources tied to the series claiming he wasn't picked up for the upcoming season.

Wilson, 31, reportedly won't be present when filming begins during the Independence Day weekend, however there is a possibility that he may make a cameo. 

The Daily Mail has contacted Bravo and Wilson for comment. 

Wilson had been on the show since season eight and landed at the center of a season-defining scandal after he began dating Amanda Batula, 34 - a relationship that shocked their friend group. 

Ciara Miller and Kyle Cooke, in particular, were the ones left particularly blindsided by the relationship.  

Batula was friends with Miller - Wilson's ex - while Wilson was also friends with Batula's ex, Kyle Cooke. 

The controversial couple confirmed their relationship in March following growing speculation into their friendship in a statement that sent shockwaves across the Bravo cinematic universe. 

'We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,' the statement read. 

'It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it. 

'What’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care. 

'As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.

'We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.' 

The couple faced the music from castmates at a recent reunion that was already plagued with drama before it even aired, after audio from the taping was leaked. 

At the Newport Beach TV Fest, Andy Cohen called the reunion among the most 'intense' reunions Bravo has had.  

'I would say that the Summer House reunion was top 10 most tense reunions that we've had,' the Bravo honcho said last week. 

Cohen said the emotional damage done to the group will be clear in the upcoming final reunion episode.

'This is a real group and there was real emotional fallout among this group,' he said. 'This group is rocked and devastated and it's very real and it was very emotional.

'And I left and I was truly spent and I wasn't in it,' he said. 'I was just directing the conversation.'
