The pivotal second part of Summer House season 10's reunion was a shocking, intense continuation of the first installment, and proved that the cast weren't interested in giving Amanda Batula and West Wilson a break, but the scandalous pair still weren't prepared to speak up. Throughout the first hour of the reunion, the cast of Summer House worked through the events of the post-season, discussing the scandalous relationship between Wilson and Batula, which culminated in a serious betrayal of Wilson's ex Ciara Miller and Batula's estranged husband Kyle Cooke. The Summer House cast held the pair accountable for their actions.

Though it's not necessarily surprising to see Wilson and Batula with their guard up, the way both seem to lack an understanding of their role in the drama is shocking. What's worse is the Summer House stars inability to take accountability for their actions, or provide basic context surrounding them.

Amanda & West's Lack Of Accountability Is Ruining Summer House's Reunion

Although Wilson and Batula were meant to answer for their actions throughout the first part of Summer House season 10's reunion, their inability to provide the details their fellow cast members were looking for crept into the second part, driving things into disarray. With Batula struggling to keep it together after being read to filth by Miller, who rightly called her out at every opportunity, it wasn't surprising when she chose to take a break from the stage. What was surprising, however, was Wilson's lack of urgency to make sure that she was okay

As Batula sobbed in her dressing room, the cast of Summer House pushed Wilson to go check on her, making it clear that none of them understood the romance between the pair if he wasn't willing to stand up for her or go after her. Throughout the second piece of the reunion, Wilson continued to stay silent in the same way he had during the previous hour, while Batula tried to point to her failing marriage with Cooke as an answer to her relationship with Wilson. Rather than owning the betrayal or apologizing, the pair has been stoic.

While watching Wilson and Batula get dressed down is fun, their lack of accountability is effectively ruining the rest of the Summer House reunion. With the pair refusing to acknowledge why their behavior is so damning or own up to the fact that they put their attraction to one another, whatever that may be, ahead of their long-standing, meaningful (for Batula) friendships, the Summer House reunion has felt like a revolving door that has no exit.

West's Pattern Of Selfish, Destructive Behavior Was Called Out Several Times

The highlight of part 2 of Summer House season 10's reunion had to be watching Wilson consistently get called out for his selfish behavior by nearly everyone. While Miller has been consistent in her struggles with Batula's behavior, part of the issue she's been calling out is the fact that Batula is fully aware Wilson has used several women and disposed of them in painful, embarrassing ways over the years. Miller wasn't the only one to call Wilson out, though. Lindsay Hubbard entered into the conversation, questioning Batula's decisions, along with Wilson's ex, Dara Levitan.

Dara put it succinctly, explaining that "it will always be the West show" with Wilson, and revealing that she feels he'll never prioritize the women he's with because of an intense need to be liked by everyone else. The general consensus among the cast was that Wilson wanted to be well-liked, no matter what that meant. Unfortunately, choosing to betray his friends and pursue Batula doesn't make that a likely outcome for the Summer House star in the future.

Revelations About Amanda & Kyle's Marriage Didn't Make The Betrayal Any Easier

As Summer House season 10's reunion's bridge episode continued, Andy Cohen probed into the marriage between Cooke and Batula, which ended in early 2026. Both were emotional about their tough relationship, and while Summer House fans know that Cooke is no saint, seeing him genuinely struggling with the end of his long-term relationship was difficult. Cooke recounted Batula's pressured attempt to get a statement out about their marriage before the Summer House season 10 premiere, getting emotional when he shared he didn't have the chance to tell his family about their decision to divorce prior to them reading the statement.

Batula tried to combat some of the emotions from Cooke, explaining that their marriage had been even tougher than it seemed on screen for years. While it's clear that Batula and Cooke's lifestyles simply weren't compatible, and Cooke's behavior wasn't something Batula should've had to deal with, the revelations surrounding their marriage didn't soften the betrayal of Batula and Wilson's newfound romance. As Summer House season 10's reunion comes to its final part next week, more information about Wilson's relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Mejia, seems like it may be the final gotcha for the difficult new pair.
