Other Mommy
Deadline reports eight-year-old Arabella Olivia Clark (Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere) will star alongside Jessica Chastain, Jay Duplass and Dichen Lachman in Other Mommy, the upcoming horror film at Universal and Atomic Monster from director Rob Savage. Based on the novel Incidents Around the House Josh Malerman, the story concerns “8-year-old Bela (Clark), who lives in a home strained by her parents’ troubled marriage, only to see her life further upended by a sinister entity she calls ‘Other Mommy.'” When this malevolent presence emerges from her closet, persistently asking ‘Can I go inside your heart?’, Bela refuses. But soon, Other Mommy’s manifestations become increasingly aggressive, threatening the safety of Bela’s family.”
Superman 2
According to a new report from Variety, an announcement for a second Superman movie “does not appear to be imminent” at DC, although stars David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan are contracted for another movie.
Wonder Woman
However, the same article states this is largely in part due to a decision to instead fast-track a Wonder Woman movie as a higher priority.
Mother of Flies
Variety also reports Shudder has acquired Mother of Flies, the latest film from the Adams Family (Hellbender). Described as a “haunted fairy tale,” the story concerns a woman facing a terminal diagnosis, “even though she isn’t ready to die yet.” Heading into the woods with her father, she seeks dark magic at the hands of mysterious recluse, Solveig. For three days, Mickey endures Solveig’s extreme rituals. But the ‘cure’ comes at a cost.'”
Primitive War
Bloody-Disgusting has word the U.S. soldiers in Vietnam vs. dinosaurs movie, Primitive War, is now scheduled for an August 21 theatrical release. Jeremy Piven, Tricia Helfer, Ryan Kwanten, and Nick Wechsler star.

Death Letter Blues
Elsewhere, a small-town priest believes his recurring nightmares are linked to the death of a local legend named “Feral Boy” in the trailer for Death Letter Blues.
Evil
Promisingly, the cast of Evil recently reunited for dinner with showrunners Michelle and Robert King, according to Aasif Mandvi on Instagram and Threads. In his Threads post, Mandvi added, “Even though we don’t make the show anymore, we do sit around and talk about it endlessly.”
The Walking Dead: Dead City
According to TV Line, The Walking Dead: Dead City has been renewed for a third season, with Seth Hoffman taking over duties as showrunner.
Revival
