‘Vanderpump Rules' Alum Tom Schwartz Reveals Where He Stands with Tom Sandoval
Tom Schwartz knows that it's his time to clear the air.
The Vanderpump Rules alum clapped back after a tabloid published a paparazzi photo of him out in Los Angeles with the headline reading: "Tom Schwartz is unrecognizable as he surfaces downcast at 43."
"His trademark breezy ebullience seemed nowhere in evidence," read the July 22 article, which also detailed how his and Tom Sandoval's Hollywood bar Schwartz & Sandy's had closed down while the L.A. sandwich shop owned by Schwartz's ex-wife Katie Maloney "remains open."
Well, Schwartz wasn't exactly raising a glass to how he was depicted. As he joked on his Instagram Story July 23 alongside a screenshot of the story, "You better sleep with one eye open @DailyMail,” alongside a sobbing emoji.
His girlfriend Kiana Carroll also jumped to his defense, sharing a Boomerang video of Schwartz by a pool with the caption, "It was a bad angle guys."
And while the friendship between Schwartz and Sandoval, 43, did hit a rough patch during the final days of Schwartz & Sandy's—which were preceded by the infamous Scandoval cheating controversy and a complete VPR cast overhaul—it's all water under the bridge for the Valley star.
"He's family for me," Schwartz said on The Valley: After Show last year. "I will always love Tom Sandoval, but of course I have some deep-rooted frustrations still. But not holding onto that s--t."

In fact, he's SURrounded by good vibes these days.
"Tom is more self-assured and more confident in what he wants out of life," Schwartz shared of his own current chapter in a recent episode of the E! digital series Hot Goss. "He's happy right now. He's in love right now."
The TomTom owner has also made peace with Maloney, who he divorced in 2022 after three years of marriage.

"We have such a good line of communication," he shared. "We're great friends. We're both happy and proud of each other."
"When a relationship doesn't work out, I don't I never look at it like, 'You wasted three years of my life,'" Schwartz added. "If you learn things from each other, you had good times."

The VPR alum began dating the casting executive in 2017 while she was still on the show. After she was fired from the series in 2020, Schroeder and Clark legally tied the knot in September of that year during the COVID-19 pandemic before welcoming daughter Hartford in January 2021.
The two later held a formal wedding in Italy in May 2022 and welcomed their second child, son Messer, in 2023.

Taylor and Cartwright met in 2015 following his breakup from Stassi. After surviving a cheating scandal involving Taylor and their former co-star Faith Stowers, he and Cartwright got married at a castle in her native Kentucky in 2019. Their wedding special aired on Bravo shortly after.
The pair welcomed their first child—son Cruz—in April 2021 a year after they walked away from the show.

Tom Sandoval & Ariana Madix
Following his breakup from Doute, Sandoval and Madix began dating when she joined the show during filming season three in 2013. The duo proved to be one of VPR's most dependable couples for nine years as they bought a house, adopted dogs and even wrote a cocktail book together.
Because of their stability, fans were shocked when the TomTom co-owner's seven-month affair with their co-star Rachel "Raquel" Leviss came to light in March 2023, leading to his and Ariana's breakup.
Since the cheating scandal, Sandoval has credited a lack of intimacy as one of the reasons they drifted away. He also claimed they were separated when news of his cheating went public, though he revealed he and Raquel first kissed in August 2022 long before Ariana found out.

Katie Maloney & Tom Schwartz
The longtime lovers got married in August 2016 after six years of dating. However, their tumultuous relationship played out on the Bravo series and after years of tension and fighting, Maloney had had enough. The duo was together for 12 years in total before she decided to divorce the TomTom co-owner in March 2022.
While they initially remained friendly exes, Schwartz's makeout with Leviss in August 2022 ruined any chances of amicability between the two. During season 10 of VPR, Maloney introduced a new love interest, actor Satchel Clendenin, though the two are no longer dating.

James Kennedy & Raquel Leviss
Kennedy and Leviss dated for five years—and even got engaged—before breaking up in November 2021. The former beauty queen later credited Kennedy's anger issues as one of the reasons for their split.

Just two months after his split from Leviss, Kennedy was spotted with a new lady, Ally Lewber, in January 2022 and they made their first official red carpet appearance together the next month.
Lewber made her Vanderpump Rules debut on the premiere of season 10 and fans later saw the couple move in together.
Their romance hit a speed bump in December 2024 when Kennedy was arrested for domestic vioence after an incident with Leviss. By the next month, the former couple announced they had broken up amid Kennedy's legal troubles, which did not result in any formal charges against him. They've since broken up.

The Bravo star and movie producer called off their engagement in October 2021 after three years together. Before breaking up, they welcomed daughter Ocean in March 2021. Kent later chalked up their split in part to Emmett's alleged cheating, though he's denied having affairs.
During VPR season 10, Kent revealed she hadn't had sex since their breakup, but dove back into the dating pool by hooking up with a guy during a girls trip to Lake Havasu.
