Victoria Beckham says she is making memories with 'special people' amid Brooklyn rift as she shares family photos and reveals David's overgrown holiday beard that 'needs a trim'

Victoria Beckham gushed over her close-knit family as she revealed she is 'making memories with special people' on her European summer holiday.

The fashion designer, 52, who has been sharing plenty of updates from the trip, is currently in Portofino, Italy, staying in the same hotel where she first holidayed with David at the beginning of their relationship with their family.

Victoria seemed to be feeling reflective on Sunday, as she shared a selection of photographs of her family members on the latest leg of the tour.

Among them was a picture of herself showing off her husband David's holiday beard, holding his overgrown facial hair and joking it 'needed a trim'. 

The matriarch shared a clip of her family watching a fireworks display from their yacht, writing: 'Fireworks are just like the special people in your life that make you sparkle. I love you all so much!'

Victoria's parents, Jackie and Tony, had flown out to join them and she shared a picture of herself with her arms around them on her Story.

In an affectionate caption, she wrote: 'Creating memories! I love you both so much!'

Victoria shared a picture of her son Cruz, 21, and her daughter Harper, 15, following a dip in the sea. Her son Romeo, 23, is also on the trip.

Victoria and David's estranged son Brooklyn is absent from the trip, but the family did narrowly avoid a run-in with him and his wife Nicola in St Tropez last month.

Despite their heartache over the fallout with Brooklyn, the family appeared to be making the most of their trip together.

On Sunday, Cruz shared a childhood picture of Brooklyn this weekend – despite his older sibling blocking his whole family and reportedly demanding he is kept off their social media.

Brooklyn released an explosive statement back in January saying he wanted nothing to do with his parents David and Victoria.

Shortly before Christmas last year, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, while his lawyers later wrote to the Beckhams' team requesting all communication be conducted through legal representatives. 

He hasn't been seen with his brothers or younger sister Harper since.

But on Saturday Cruz shared a new Instagram post without a caption which featured recent family holiday pictures, as well as a throwback picture with Brooklyn. It was of them all as children as they beamed at the camera.

Over the weekend, David and Victoria stole some time to themselves away from three of their kids as they enjoyed a date night in Portofino at a swanky hotel. 

The couple revealed they were returning to the hotel 29 years after they first visited, before their relationship was common knowledge in 1997.

The footballer added a caption on the shot reading: '29 years ago we came to portofino to this hotel before anyone knew we were dating and here we are back again @victoriabeckham Portofino 97.' 

Victoria sent temperatures soaring during the night out as she sizzled in a black lace gown which flashed her perky bottom and lingerie underneath. 

She then cosied up to David for a snap, in which she also showed off her cleavage in the plunging gown – leaving very little to the imagination. 

The couple began dating in 1997, after David requested to meet her having seen her in a leather catsuit in the Spice Girls' Say You'll Be There video.

Then known to her legions of fans as Posh Spice, Victoria admitted that nobody even wanted to date her before she was eventually introduced to David in 1997 – at his request – after his team's charity football match.

'That's the girl for me and I'm going to get her!' David told The Sun of a conversation he had with a pal as he watched the star strut her stuff onscreen. 'She's my idea of perfection. I knew that if she wanted me, we would be together forever.'

Just over a year after meeting, in January 1998, the couple, now affectionately dubbed Posh and Becks, ended weeks of speculation over whether they'd taken their romance to the next level, when they announced that they were engaged to marry. 

Later speaking to Vogue in 2016, Victoria said: 'Love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge — although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy.'

The Beckhams famously married in a spectacular ceremony, costing a reported £800,000 in which they both donned bold ensembles. Images from the big day featured in an OK! spread and front cover story.  

They are parents to Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 15, and were previously famed for their close bond as a family before Brooklyn denounced his family with an explosive statement in January. 

Their firstborn told the world he wanted nothing to do with 'Brand Beckham' in a scathing statement, to which the Beckhams have never replied.
