The Real Housewives of Orange County OG Vicki Gunvalson asked for prayers for her second home, Puerto Vallarta, on Sunday amid violent Mexican cartel retaliation.

'Hi everyone! I'm safe and not in Puerto Vallarta,' the Chicago-born 63-year-old - who boasts 2.4 million social media followers - wrote via Instastory.

'Thank you so much for all the messages and concern. It truly means a lot. Please join me in keeping everyone affected in your prayers. Sending love and heartfelt thoughts to all who need them right now.'

After 30 years of vacationing in the seaside resort town, Gunvalson (born Victoria Steinmetz) bought a second home there in June 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Coto Insurance CEO's penthouse apartment features panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from the comfort of her jacuzzi on the breezy patio of her high-rise.

In 2021, Gunvalson sold her famous five-bedroom Coto de Caza mansion for $3 million after over 26 years of living there.

On Sunday, Mexican Army Special Forces planned and executed an operation to capture drug lord Nemesio Oseguera aka 'El Mencho' in Tapalpa, but he died while being transported to Mexico City by the military.

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel then unleashed a retaliatory wave of violence across 20 Mexican states, torching businesses and stranding tourists who crowded the airports where flights were halted.

On February 2, Gunvalson wrapped production on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, which premieres later this year on Bravo.

'So much love for these ladies. Being surrounded by these incredible women, each an OG in her own city, means more to me than I can say,' the grandmother-of-four wrote on February 1.

'What started as a little idea turned into something that changed reality TV forever, and these women helped make Housewives the iconic franchise it is today. We whooped it up hard, and this girls trip season is one you all are going to love. Forever grateful to be a part of this journey with such strong, amazing women.'

The blended ensemble also includes Luann de Lesseps, Porsha Williams, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow.

Gunvalson will also be back for season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County after a long, rocky history with the franchise.

The twice-divorced mother-of-two was in the very first iteration of The Real Housewives franchise back in 2006 alongside Jeana Keough, Jo De La Rosa, Lauri Waring and Kimberly Bryant.

After 13 seasons, Gunvalson was demoted to 'friend' status for the 14th season, in which she appeared in 12 episodes, and she officially quit the next year in 2020.

The Harper College grad was then downgraded even further to 'guest star' for season 17, appearing in just five episodes.

Gunvalson - who commands $125 on Cameo - is also every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Sunlighten Saunas, Q Care Plus and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill.
