EXCLUSIVE: Verve has signed filmmaker, composer, and music producer Adam Anders for representation.
Known for Netflix’s The Prom (where he was producer and executive music producer), Fox’s Glee (where he was executive music producer), and Rock of Ages (where he was executive music producer and co-wrote the original score), Anders’ career spans across film, television and music, with his roles as a composer and executive music producer often coalescing at the center of his projects.
Anders has won two Golden Globes and two People’s Choice Awards for his work on Glee and is also a four-time Grammy nominee. His credits as EP or producer also include Sovereign, Perfect Harmony, 2017’s Dirty Dancing, and The Passion. Meanwhile, his music producing credits across film and television include the animated feature Captain Underpants and ABC’s musical drama Monarch.
Anders also co-wrote, directed and produced the 2023 faith-based musical Journey to Bethlehem for Sony Pictures’ Affirm Films. Next up for him as a filmmaker is a supernatural thriller based on major IP, which he’ll write, direct and produce.
In the music industry, Anders has produced for artists including Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Backstreet Boys, Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Hudson, and CeeLo Green, amassing over 100 million album sales worldwide.
On taking on a new agency, he said, “I’ve spent my career at the intersection of music, storytelling, and film, and I’m excited to be entering this next chapter with Verve. They understand the kind of bold, ambitious projects I want to build — meaningful stories that move people. I couldn’t ask for better partners as I continue to push into new territory as a filmmaker.”
Anders continues to be represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Loeb & Loeb.
