Vein removal treatment, cryotherapy and 16,000 steps per day: April Rose Pengilly details the gruelling fitness and beauty regimen she did in the lead up to her extravagant wedding

April Rose Pengilly has revealed the gruelling preparation that went into her August 2025 nuptials to long-time partner Adam Paul Jones.

The daughter of INXS guitarist Kirk Pengilly and her now-husband got married in a spectacular fairytale wedding at a French castle.

Now, April, 38, has detailed the shocking fitness and beauty regimen she underwent to look perfect on her big day, sharing a lengthy post to Instagram on Thursday.

The Neighbours star uploaded a video montage showing how she maintained her skin, figure, and hair during the months leading up to the wedding.

'Honestly, I have to do pretty much all of this regularly anyway, so it wasn’t too much of a stretch,' she began in the caption.

'I kept up my skincare - vitamin B, vitamin C, retinol, sunscreen daily and my LED mask nightly.'

April went on to say she visited Jacqueline Brennan for a series of skin treatments that cost her upwards of $2,800.

'I had Collagen Remodelling RF Microneedling [$600], Vein Removal Treatment on my legs, Laser Genesis [$399], and Tightening and Lifting Hifu [$1800],' she explained.

The actress then detailed her workout regime, saying she performed 'strength-training every second day' and got in a minimum of 16,000 steps 'per day'. 

'However I had an injury flare up and had to switch to the stupid boring stationary bike,' she added. 

'I also do four minutes of planks every day which makes the biggest difference!'

April then ensured she had 'as much protein as possible' in her vegetarian diet, including 'two dairy-free protein shakes daily' on top of vitamins and supplements. 

'I went to Body WRL for Red Light Therapy [$109], Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy [$59 for half an hour], Cryotherapy [$99] and EmSculpt Neo,' she added. 

'I continued my hair routine, including conditioning treatments, oil treatments, bond repair products and avoiding heat styling.' 

'I also had my colour done and a trim right before leaving. I did Epsom salt baths and went in the steam room,' she added.

April also got a manicure and pedicure done - 'acrylics with shellac - in her favourite 'Bubble Bath' pink colour, which she revealed she used to wear for Neighbours.  

'I had my teeth whitened at FY Smile and continued my usual whitening maintenance at home,' she continued.

'Finally, I went to my girl Amy Jean for brow lamination [$140] and lightening [$110].'

April finished the post by saying she also did her own eyelash tint as an extra detail for her big day.

Adam, dapper in a classic tuxedo, watched on as his bride made her entrance through the château's manicured gardens and grand stone staircases.

The star-studded guest list included family and close friends, with Kirk proudly in attendance.

Elegant floral arrangements, opulent table settings, and soft-toned décor added to the grandeur of the day.

Their French nuptials mark the culmination of a whirlwind romance that quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity love stories of the year.

Photos from the wedding showed the couple sharing tender moments beneath the château's soaring arches, sealing their vows in front of family and friends before celebrating late into the night.

April and Adam began dating in 2022 before announcing their engagement in December 2023.

The couple had been together for just under two years when Adam popped the question.
