James Kennedy will no longer be performing at the Komodo Lounge Dallas next month following his arrest on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence

Two days after the Burbank Police Department responded to a call to his residence over an 'argument between a man and a woman' around 11:30 p.m., the Vanderpump Rules star, 32, has been pulled from a show scheduled for January 17, 2025.

On Friday, DailyMail.com confirmed the cancellation for his gig with a staff member that works for Komodo Dallas.

'After careful consideration we made the decision to cancel his upcoming appearance,' the venue insider stated.

The cancellation comes 24 hours after Kennedy promoted his upcoming appearance at the Komodo Lounge Dallas with his more than 1 million Instagram followers.

In his post, uploaded to his account on Thursday, Kennedy described Komodo Dallas as his 'favorite spot' in the Lone Star State.

Bravo and Cocktail shared a screenshot of a cancelled order from the show.

While this event is no longer listed, he has other performances across the country from Milwaukee and Seattle to Atlanta, between now and March 2025.

DailyMail.com has contacted Kennedy's representatives, but have not heard back.

He has not taken down his post promoting his gig at the Komodo Lounge Dallas, yet.

On Friday, sources told TMZ that Kennedy's girlfriend, Ally Lewber, feels his domestic violence arrest was all a big 'misunderstanding' and is sticking by his side.

The insider added that a neighbor, who witnessed the DJ and his girlfriend fighting, 'overreacted' by calling 911.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, attorneys for Kennedy said they would be looking into the domestic violence complaint that resulted in no injuries.

'We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,' his lawyers stated. 'We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.'

Kennedy was arrested on a domestic violence charge, after attending Kathy Hilton's Christmas bash with girlfriend Ally Lewber on Tuesday.

TMZ has reported that Kennedy was detained after Burbank police responded to a call about an argument between the Vanderpump Rules alum and a woman at a home in the area.

A witness claimed to have seen Kennedy and the woman arguing, and the reality star is said to have at one point grabbed the female. Officers say they did not see any visible injuries on the woman.

The authorities determined it was a domestic violence incident following an investigation, and Kennedy was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.

People report that the cops were called to Kennedy's Los Angeles home on Tuesday at approximately 11:30pm 'regarding an argument between a man and a woman,' a police spokesperson said.

'The investigation determined it was a domestic incident, leading to [Kennedy's] arrest,' the spokesperson said. '[Kennedy] was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and later posted bail. Formal charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s office.'

He was released after paying a $20k bail. The Burbank City Attorney's Office is now looking into the case for potential charges.

While it's unknown if the alleged victim is Ally, People reports that the duo were not seen spending much time together at Kathy's party, nor were they observed being particularly affectionate towards one another.

A source told People: 'James was acting super aggressive all night long.'

'He was acting so erratic, running back and forth to the bar and body-checking people along the way,' the source alleged. 'He appeared inebriated. Spent the evening mostly alone but when he did speak to people, he appeared irritated and rude.'

Kennedy has been dating Lewber since 2022, following the end of his engagement to Rachel Leviss.

Ally shared video of her reading Kathy Hilton's birth chart at the party, but James was not in the video. 'Everyone, @kathyhilton invited me over to read her chart,' she captioned the post.

On Tuesday, Ally co-hosted Windsor's pre-New Years Eve bash in Los Angeles but Kennedy was not in attendance.

Earlier this year Ally shut down speculation she and Kennedy got into a 'physical altercation' at the 2022 MTV Movie Awards afterparty.

'That never happened. There was no physical altercation,' she said on Scheana Shay's podcast Scheananigans.

'Yes, we were in the car together. I thought we were having fun. We were having fun. But then James and I did get into an argument, but there was no physical assault,' she said.

Kristen Doute, who previously dated Kennedy from 2014 to 2015, responded to the arrest on Instagram. 'Finally,' she wrote simply beside a screenshot of the news.

Doute has previously indicated her ex was abusive.

'Does James have a DJ name? DJ Beats… women, allegedly?' Luke Broderick, her fiance, asked on her podcast Balancing Act, prompting Doute to chuckle.

'It's not alleged... That's exactly right. No, it's not alleged. We'll talk about it soon,' she replied.

The news also comes weeks after it was revealed that the Bravo show will star a completely new cast for season 12 in a major reboot.

The new cast consists of 'close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessor,' the network said as they announced the show's renewal.

Kennedy was a member of the show's core cast, which last also consisted of Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and Scheana Shay.

Lisa Vanderpump will be returning and the upcoming season will begin filming next year. The new cast and premiere date will be announced down the road.

Lisa stated in the announcement: 'The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between. I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives.

'How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules,' she said.

Additionally, the show 'will celebrate the past decade of heartbreaks, friendship rifts and scandals with a retrospective special highlighting the past 11 seasons', the release states.

After the news, Kennedy broke his silence on the matter and admitted he was fighting back tears.
