Vanderpump Rules' James Kennedy loads girlfriend's belongings into car as duo 'spend time apart' after his domestic violence arrest

James Kennedy and girlfriend Ally Lewber are reportedly taking space from one another days after his domestic violence arrest. 

The Vanderpump Rules alum, 32, was pictured assisting Ally move her belongings from their shared home in LA and into her car on Sunday. 

TMZ reports that the couple will be spending some time apart from one another however are still together.

Lewber has since moved into a neighboring Airbnb, which she will be sharing with her visiting family. 

The astrologer did not pack lightly - she wheeled a suitcase and carried various other belongings with her. Kennedy, meanwhile, loaded an assortment of items into her vehicle. 

She also left with a hamper, decorative basket, and various other bags, including a taupe weekender that was quite full.

The Vanderpump Rules alum and his girlfriend were spotted loading her items into a car amid their reported plans to have some space from one another

Insiders shared with the website that Lewber has not yet made any major decisions about the relationship and is still making sense of what just occurred.

Ally reportedly will be spending the holidays with her family in Ohio.

It remains to be seen if James will be included in those plans. 

It comes after Ally revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com that she and James planned on hosting her family at their home for the holidays. 

In an interview conducted just one day after his arrest but prior to the controversy emerging, Ally said: 'My family's coming here. So James and I are going to host this year.... I feel like an adult. Like my family's coming to me.'

'I got them stockings with their initials on it, so when they go in the guest room, I'm going to make it all cute,' she said.

Ally was co-hosting the the New Year's Eve with Windsor bash at Short Stories hotel on Wednesday evening.  

The following day news broke that the Burbank Police Department responded to a call about a 'man and woman arguing' at Kennedy’s residence around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The arrest occurred after Kennedy and Ally attended Kathy Hilton's Christmas bash together.

The Burbank Police Daily Arrest Log reported that an officer spoke with both Kennedy and a woman that night inside a residence after receiving a 9-1-1 call, according to TMZ.

She did not pack lightly 

While there, the woman, whose name was not revealed, told investigators she had been picked up by her boyfriend and that he threw her to the ground.

Police on the scene said they did not see any visible injuries on the alleged victim, but arrested Kennedy for misdemeanor domestic battery upon spouse/co-habitant.

Officers were initially summoned to the residence on reports Kennedy had gotten into an argument with the woman and grabbed.

At this time, there has been no confirmation Lewber was the reported victim.

On Saturday, Lewber, 28 - who has been dating Kennedy since 2022 - spoke out on his arrest in a statement on her Instagram stories.

She penned, 'Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me.'

'I'm okay and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.'

Kennedy was released after paying a $20,000 bail, according to police records. 

Kennedy's attorney, Scott Leeman, tried to downplay the severity of the incident, telling the outlet, 'We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city's attorney will decide not to file formal charges.'
