If you've had your eye on discounts for the OLED version of Valve's Steam Deck portable gaming device, now may be the time to act. The company is selling certified refurbished OLED Steam Decks in its store at a discount of $110 to $130 depending on which version you choose.
The 512GB version of the OLED Steam Deck costs $439 currently, down from its usual price for a new device of $549. The 1TB version is selling refurbished for $519, down from $649 for a new device. There are lower prices elsewhere for new Steam Decks, but not as low as the refurbished price. Amazon sells the 512GB Steam Deck for $523. A 1TB Steam Deck on Amazon sells for much more, $789.
Valve also lists the LCD versions of its Steam Deck for $279, $319 and $359 (for 64GB, 256GB and 512GB, respectively), but all three of those refurbished products are currently out of stock.
The company says the refurbished devices have the same one-year warranty as new ones (or longer depending on country of origin) and also include a refurbished power supply and carrying case.
The OLED Steam Deck has a slightly larger screen, a higher refresh rate, Wi-Fi 6E instead of Wi-Fi 5, and a larger battery for longer gameplay than the LCD version.
