Australia received some much-needed NBN speed upgrades last month, introducing plans with up to 2Gbps download speeds in the process. While the boosted speeds have meant the fastest NBN plans are now even quicker, if you really want to take advantage of them, then it’s quite likely you’ll need to upgrade your home network equipment – one of the best and easiest ways is with a mesh Wi-Fi system.
These systems can often cost a pretty penny, but Amazon’s October Prime Day sale in Australia has seen many excellent options come down significantly in price, and I’ve selected five examples for you to look at below.
My recommendations below all support Wi-Fi 6E as a minimum, but there’s also a couple supporting the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. All these systems are plenty fast enough to be paired with one of the best NBN 500 plans, but you may want to consider Wi-Fi 7 for faster options such as 750Mbps, 1Gbps or 2Gbps.
