Strategic revenue, excluding the ironSource Ads network and Supersonic publishing operations, climbed 38% year over year to $486 million.

The Grow Solutions segment posted 35% annual growth, reaching $389 million, fueled by expansion in Unity Ads Network and Unity Vector AI. Meanwhile, Create Solutions revenue experienced modest 2% year-over-year growth to $158 million.

Adjusted EBITDA totaled $160 million for the quarter, yielding a 29% margin. This represents significant improvement from the $90 million and 21% margin recorded in Q2 2025. Free cash flow jumped to $202 million, up from $127 million in the comparable year-ago period.

Vector AI Platform Achieves $1 Billion Milestone

Chief Executive Matt Bromberg characterized the results as “arguably the best quarter in Unity’s history as a public company.” He credited the Unity Vector AI platform as the primary catalyst for the exceptional performance.

Unity Vector has achieved a $1 billion annual revenue run rate, reaching this milestone two quarters ahead of the company’s internal timeline. Bromberg revealed that the platform recently began incorporating data from approximately three billion monthly players using the Unity runtime into Vector’s AI models, creating what he believes will be a sustainable competitive moat.

“The flywheel we’ve constructed is spinning up,” Bromberg stated.

Path to Profitability Accelerates

Looking ahead to Q3, Unity issued revenue guidance between $540 million and $550 million, topping the analyst consensus forecast of $539.3 million. The company projected adjusted EBITDA of $185 million to $190 million, implying year-over-year growth of 69% to 74%.

Leadership anticipates delivering a sixth straight quarter of adjusted EBITDA margin expansion, with margins expected to widen by approximately 400 basis points sequentially from the second quarter.

Chief Financial Officer Jarrod Yahes announced that Unity now projects achieving GAAP net income profitability during Q3 2026, pulling forward the timeline by one quarter from previous guidance.

Yahes noted that divesting the Supersonic business and discontinuing the ironSource Ads network will contribute to enhanced margins throughout the second half of the year.

He characterized these strategic actions as transforming Unity into “a more focused company positioned for faster revenue growth and dramatically higher levels of profitability.”

Unity stock emerged as one of the most actively discussed tickers on Stocktwits in the wake of the earnings announcement.
