Travis Barker's ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, made a shocking claim about the Blink-182 drummer during an appearance in an upcoming documentary about his life.
In Travis Barker: Love Is Louder Than Fear - which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Saturday with the tattooed rocker and wife Kourtney Kardashian in attendance - the former Playboy model, 51, said Barker once admitted that he took as many as 30 pills a day at the height of his drug addiction, per Us Weekly.
Barker himself said people around him were extremely concerned for him, and shared how a security guard stayed awake at night to make sure he was still breathing.
Moakler and Barker were married in 2004 and finalized their divorce four years later following a tumultuous relationship.
The documentary also included old footage from the former couple's reality show, Meet the Barkers. Their children, son Landon, 22, and daughter Alabama, 20, and Moakler's daughter, Atiana, 27, from a previous relationship with boxer Oscar de la Hoya, were also featured in the film.
Travis Barker: Love Is Louder Than Fear drops on Hulu on August 13 and offers an unfiltered look at the life, career and trauma of the 50-year-old musician, who was left with severe burns and PTSD following a harrowing 2008 plane crash that claimed four lives.

Ten years in the making, the documentary follows his personal life from growing up in a tough neighborhood to taking over as drummer for Blink-182, which changed the course of his life.
It tells how Barker battled grief and walked a thin line between 'survival and surrender.'
His relationship with current wife, Kourtney Kardashian, 47, also comes into play. She was credited with helping Barker overcome his fear of flying so he could tour and live a fulfilling life.
The documentary also has Barker and Kardashian speaking about a miscarriage they experienced before the birth of their son, Rocky.
They said Kardashian became pregnant with a baby girl six months after they first started dating in late 2020, turning a life-long friendship into romance during the pandemic.
But sadly, the reality star learned at the three-month mark that their baby was lost.
'When we lost the baby, we were devastated. We cried for days,' Kardashian said in the documentary.
She described how they underwent IVF five times over the course of eight months with no success and decided to stop the process before naturally conceiving their son, Rocky, two.

Meanwhile, Moakler previously said she is 'happy' for Barker amid his marriage to Kardashian, and insisted that they want to always do things in the 'best interests' of their kids.
Speaking on Jeff Lewis Live in 2024, she explained: 'The one thing we've always agreed on is our kids and the best interest of our children. I'm happy for him. I think, you know, he's in a good place... The kids love the new baby, Rocky.'
She added: ‘Travis, even when we weren't together, always wanted to be the super dad. "I'm the best parent. I'm the this." And I'm like, "Bro, you win. You're the winner here. You have all the money. You have all the this. You're the winner."'
Moakler stressed that, in the end, the only thing she 'cares about' is the happiness of her own children even though she 'cannot compete' with her famous husband in some ways.
'My ex is a very powerful, famous person. It's kind of hard to compete on that level,' she said. 'When it comes to me as a a mother, I don’t give five f*** what anyone says or thinks. I only care about my children -- my relationship with my children.'
