Michael Bay has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles against a pair of women he says did nearly six figures in damage to his Bel-Air, California property following a crash nearly a year-and-a-half ago.
The director, 61, named Angelica Silver and Shayra LaFuente in the suit, saying LaFuente had driven a 2016 Cadillac ATS into his property in what was a case of hit-and-run on the morning of September 17, 2024.
The filmmaker, whose credits include Transformers, Pearl Harbor and Armageddon, said in legal docs he believes LaFuente had been driving under the influence and speeding at the time of the crash.
Bay said in the court documents that LaFuente eventually knocked over a streetlight, which ripped off her bumper, but still left the scene.
The Los Angeles native said that the Cadillac was driven over a curb and smashed into a number of items, causing $93,000 in damages, according to court documents reviewed by TMZ.
The Daily Mail has reached out to multiple representatives for Bay for comment but has yet to hear back.

Bay said that his front gate fence and camera system were damaged as result of the crash.
Also destroyed in the crash were irrigation pipes, landscaping, hedges, trees and vegetation, the director said in legal docs.
Silver also bears responsibility for letting Lafuente drive the vehicle while inebriated, Bay said in legal docs.
Bay is pursuing repairs and damages in the incident.
A September 2024 report from TMZ indicated that police in Los Angeles responded to a call at the director's home after an employee of Bay's contacted them after surveying the damage.
Police said that the motorist responsible at the time had fled the scene, and that indicators was that the damage was likely the result of the actions of a drunken driver.
An early estimate of damages was at $100,000, and the outlet reported it didn't appear that the director was on the property at the time the crash occurred.
The litigation is not the only legal action Bay currently has going involving the luxury auto manufacturer.

The director last month sued Cadillac $1.5 million for 'general and compensatory damages' claiming fraud and breach-of-contract, according to legal docs obtained by the Daily Mail.
Attorney for Bay said in legal docs filed in Los Angeles that motorsports exec Dan Towriss and 'his Cadillac F1 team have apparently stolen Bay's ideas and work for the commercial, without paying for them.'
Bay said in legal documents that Towriss and his associates approached him last November to produce and direct an ad for the Super Bowl and an ad campaign rollout in Times Square.
His legal team said in court papers that 'Towriss wanted to hire a renowned American director' to promote the American F1 team.
Bay said in the complaint that during a call with Towriss and associates via Webex, he displayed work he had done, which included excerpts from his film catalogue.
The director said that after he presented Towriss with an official pitch, he was told he had been hired to oversee the ad with the verbiage, 'OK, let's get to work. I will let everyone know,' according to the complaint.
Bay's lawyers said in the legal document, 'Throughout this process, Defendants and their agents worked with Bay and Bay's legal team as if Bay had in fact been hired for the project.'
Bay's attorneys allegedly said that Cadillac told him and his team they planned on going 'in a different direction' with the personnel for the project; and subsequently 'stole' aspects of his pitch for their ad.

A Cadillac F1 representative told The Athletic in a statement in early February: 'Michael Bay is a cinematic genius and we talked with him about directing our Super Bowl ad. But after two meetings, it became clear he couldn't meet our timeline, and there ultimately wasn't a path forward.
'It's unclear why he's bringing this claim, since the concept and creative were already developed and we were only exploring him as a director.
'We're confident this will be resolved appropriately. Even so, we still admire Michael Bay's creative brilliance and would welcome the opportunity to work together in the future.'
Towriss told The Athletic in a media roundtable last month that he was 'disappointed that [Bay] chose to' sue him.
Said Towriss: 'Certainly, all the creative was done well in advance of ever speaking with him. We were wanting to talk to him about a role as director, not taking creative ideas from him.
'The group, translation, that we worked with, did an excellent job developing all that so we are confident it'll be resolved amicably.'
He called the ad 'a huge success,' adding, 'We are very proud of the work that was done, and that's all I can say on it.'
