The Traitors winner Jake Brown heartbreakingly admitted that he used to be 'ashamed' of his Cerebral palsy
Speaking after taking home the impressive £94,600 prize money with fellow faithful Leanne Quigley in this week's final, he told of how he has learnt to be 'proud of his disability.'
The project manager, 28, from Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, is the first ever contestant to have cerebral palsy and bravely opened up about his 'lifelong struggle' with the movement disorder towards the end of the series.
Speaking to MailOnline about why he chose not to tell his fellow contestants until later on, he explained: 'I think because all my life I have tried to hide it and especially when I was younger, I used to be a bit ashamed of it.
'I just wanted to be normal and it wasn’t till I was older I realised I am normal. It's part of who I am, it makes me who I am. I wouldn't be me without it.'
During the series the contestants were challenged to haul huge Easter Island style statues up a mountain in order to add more money to the prize pot, a task which was particularly difficult for Jake.

He admitted: 'In that challenge, I was struggling with my grip and I kept dropping the statues and I just thought I shouldn’t suffer in silence, and now I'm more confident.
'I think it's good to be open and not ashamed of it. I want people watching at home to think, if they have got a disability, no matter what it is, be proud of it.
'I told Alexander and it was a weight off my shoulders. The rest of the mission after that felt like a breeze, even though I was still struggling, it felt like now I've told my piece and it just felt much better.'
'I didn't wanna be that person that's like, “by the way I've got a disability”. That's not me, I wanted to be myself. I don't want someone's first impression of me to be, "It’s Jake, the guy with Cerebral palsy.”
'I want them to think “That's Jake. He's a lovely guy.” Even though I'm proud of my disability, it doesn't define me.'
Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Leanne, Alexander Dragonetti, Jake and Charlotte Berman were the five remaining contestants going into the last hurdle.
But the veteran and project manager were the ones who managed to outsmart the Traitors and emerge victorious by remaining in the show until the end of the unforgettable third series.
Revealing what he hopes to do with his winnings, Jake added: 'I want to give back to my mum and dad because I feel like I owe that to them, even though I am a confident person. I feel like the person I am today is because of my mum and dad.

He added: 'So as well as spending money on holidays for my wife, I want to give her back to my mum and dad, because it's been difficult for me having a disability, it's been difficult for them as well. So I want to give them something as well.'
On Friday, in the most fiery roundtable yet, the Faithfuls banished the final Traitor of the series.
But in yet another new twist 'Welsh' business director Charlotte didn't reveal her status as she left the castle.
It left the four remaining players considering whether there could be a final villain, with suspicions landing on Alexander in particular, who was the next to be banished.
But the game didn't end there as the final three also all voted to banish again in an excruciating round of endgame.
While Frankie opted to banish Jake, Leanne and Jake then turned on Frankie as she became the final player to leave the castle, leaving Leanne and Jake victorious.
