Tower of God has brought most of the principal characters together once again in time for the Workshop Battle's first game, Flag, in the release of season 2, episode #18. With the original team from season 1 scattered across multiple units led by figures such as Viole, Khun, Endorsi, Shibisu, and more, reconciliation is made more complicated by the nature of their next challenge. In Tower of God season 2, episode #18, even Khun's rearranged team encounters shocking twists on their path to victory, with even their teammates potentially posing a threat to each other.
The Workshop Battle was the event to which Tower of God season 2 led, with its focus on worldbuilding being a long interlude before a potentially heartfelt reunion among old comrades. While not everything is going to plan, fans of Tower of God season 1 will appreciate the return of some of the greatest and scaliest of the show's favorites, yet others are thrilled at the prospect of more action. It's been a long road, but in Tower of God season 2, episode #18, the Flag battle commences, with an immediate upset mere moments later, teasing exciting developments ahead.

What Happened in Tower of God Season 2, Episode #17?
Rak and Roll
In the moments before the Workshop Battle begins, the battle's hosts, Io and Funk, meet with a mysterious man bent on profiteering off the event as a sporting exhibition in Tower of God season 2, episode #17. But for a short while, everyone has a moment of respite aboard the Archimedes, with characters happy to relax during the rest period before the more heated battles begin again. Viole learns firsthand about the spectators' expectations of him against the Ten Families. But perhaps the most exciting reveal of the episode was a miniaturized Rak Wraithraiser.
With Khun painfully cautious about tipping off Jahad about Bam's identity as Viole, Rak is infuriated at the notion of having to stay quiet should the two cross paths, at least for now. He discusses how much joy he felt at reuniting with his friends, whom he affectionately labels turtles based on their dominant associated color. Later, after a talk with Wangnan and some cryptic notes about his past, Khun allows Rak to get through to him while planning to beat Team FUG and regain Viole. But as the Workshop Battle's Flag event begins, they find Miseng suddenly violently possessed.

Tower of God Season 2, Episode #18 Shows a New Side of Miseng
"Let's Make Her Weak Again"
In Tower of God season 2, episode #18, as the anime installment adapts the events of the webtoon's season 2, episode #70 and beyond, Khun's team will deal with the shocking reveal of a vastly empowered Miseng on a rampage. There are still lasting effects from her and Prince's capture by Verdi from episodes #16 and #17. However, as Miseng's teammates do their best to get her back to normal, Prince especially steps up in the Flag challenge.
Tower of God readers will recognize the Flag event as the Plug Battle while still bearing the signature complicated challenges found throughout the Tower.
But as Miseng's surprise clash continues, eyes will soon turn to Group 6 in the Workshop Battle, featuring who is believed to be the strongest E-Rank Regular on the 30th Floor. Groups 4 and 5 will soon get their spotlights as Tower of God seems to be less sparing with lighting again, with Goseng soon crossing paths with a dear friend once again. In Tower of God season 2, episode #18, the Workshop Battle will have heartwarming moments, but it also teases some of the most brutal action sequences yet.
