Three of the best shows to binge-watch this weekend on Paramount+ include a modern classic thriller, a laugh-out-loud comedy, and a brand new season of a critically acclaimed supernatural series.
While there are not too many new releases on Paramount+ this week, this selection of current and classic streaming series consists of all Paramount+ exclusives that are worth your time this weekend, depending on what genre you're looking for.
Your Honor
Your Honor was Bryan Cranston's first leading role in a TV show following the epic conclusion of Breaking Bad. While it may not be as incredible as what many consider to be the best TV show ever made, Your Honor is an epic legal drama with elements of psychological and crime thriller.
Your Honor was released in 2020 and concluded in 2023 after two seasons. Consisting of 20 total episodes, the series originally aired on Showtime and is much better than its 49% Rotten Tomatoes score suggests. Cranston plays a New Orleans judge who tries to protect his son from an organized crime family after he is involved in a hit-and-run.
Detroiters
Tim Robinson has a massive year in 2025, starring in the A24 film Friendship with Paul Rudd and creating/starring in his hit HBO comedy/conspiracy thriller series The Chair Company. Before his meteoric rise to success, Robinson starred in and created the hit comedy series Detroiters along with Sam Richardson.
Detroiters follows two friends in Detroit who make a living shooting low-budget commercials. The real reason why this series is such an underrated gem, though, is the outstanding chemistry between Richardson and Robinson and the non-stop humor infused in every episode. It's certainly one of the most witty and clever comedy shows of the 2010s and is worth checking out.
School Spirits
School Spirits returned on Wednesday, January 28, with a three-part season 3 premiere and has been surging on Paramount+'s viewing charts ever since. The supernatural fantasy series is also one of the most critically acclaimed original shows on the streamer, earning a 91% Rotten Tomatoes score along with a 92% RT audience score.
School Spirits centers on Maddie, played by Peyton List, who begins the series by discovering she's been murdered and is trapped in a limbo-like existence within her high school. From the afterlife, and with some help from other ghostly spirits who were murdered at the school over the past century, Maddie ventures to discover who was behind her death. Don't miss the best new show to binge right now on Paramount+.
