Amazon Game Studios, Crystal Dynamics, and Flying Wild Hog offered another look at Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis during today's State of Play showcase. Legacy of Atlantis will be released on Feb. 12, 2027, which is a slight delay from its original launch window.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a remake of the first Tomb Raider game, serving as a primer for a brand-new game titled Tomb Raider: Catalyst. This new trailer shows many different moments from throughout the remake, including iconic set pieces like when Lara Croft gets chased by a dinosaur. Of course, the entire game has the look and sheen of a modern Unreal Engine 5 AAA title rather than a blocky PlayStation and Sega Saturn-era game.

Considering we haven't gotten a new Uncharted or Tomb Raider game recently, this trailer makes Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis look like it will offer everything you'd want from such a game. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little bit longer for it than expected.

When it was announced at The Game Awards 2025, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis had a 2026 release window. This trailer reveals the game is now coming out on Feb. 12, 2027. While that's a slight delay, at least we now have a firm release date for Tomb Raider's grand return.

In addition to PS5, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will also be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S when it comes out next year.
