Tom Segura's estranged wife Christina P. gets tearful as she breaks silence on divorce after 18-year marriage

Tom Segura's estranged wife Christina P. got tearful while breaking her silence on their impending divorce following 18 years of marriage.

The 50-year-old admitted their separation, which happened in May or June, was 'extremely sad' and they 'tried to work it out for several years for the sake of our' sons Ellis, 10, and Julian, eight.

'We gave it all we could, but we just couldn't work things out,' Christina (last name Pazsitzky) said on their Your Mom's House podcast on Wednesday.

'Look, we had 20 amazing years together. That's a really good run, I think, in a marriage. We had a very successful marriage. We created [YMH Studios], we have comedy careers [and] most importantly created a family.'

She wistfully recalled how she and the 47-year-old Bad Thoughts creator-star were two broke comics when they first moved in together in LA's Silver Lake neighborhood.

'We've been through births and deaths, tragic accidents, cancer, COVID, all the things,' Christina said.

'I'm still here and we will survive. We will get through this bulls*** like we've gotten through everything else in life. This is just an unfortunate thing.'

She urged their fans not to take sides since: 'We are amicable. This is not an ugly divorce...you know, people change. It's just one of those things.'

'And you know some f***ing cancer couldn't kill me,' Christina noted. 'You think a dude's going to f***ing take me out?'

And while Segura is 'always going to be my family' Christina confessed her DMs are already being 'flooded' with eligible bachelors, which is 'flattering' but she's 'not f***ing there yet.'

Segura physically transformed himself over the past six years – going from 240-255lbs to 206lbs thanks, in part, to trendy GLP-1 agonist drugs.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Segura and Christina's representatives for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Christine has no upcoming standup comedy tour dates, but she is next scheduled to perform September 3 at Cap City Comedy in Austin, Texas, where they reside.

Segura served as creator, producer, director, writer and star for the first two seasons of the vignette-filled dark comedy series – which just earned an Emmy Award nomination for outstanding short form comedy (drama/variety series).

However, Netflix has yet to renew Bad Thoughts for a third season.

The Ohio-born, half-Peruvian funnyman has also released six comedy specials through the streaming giant including Teacher, which dropped on December 24.

Meanwhile, Christina first found fame in 1998 as a cast member of MTV's Road Rules: Down Under.
