MobLand has reportedly been confirmed for ANOTHER series.

The crime drama, created by Ronan Bennett, hit our screens on Paramount+ in March last year.

It follows the lives of the fictional Harrigan family and their influence on London's criminal underworld.

The first season included 10 episodes and starred the likes of Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver and Anson Boon.

A second series was then confirmed in June 2025 and the cast have already reunited to start filming for it.

Fans will be happy to know that there will be a third series to follow.

A TV insider told The Sun: 'Thankfully the quality of the show and the ratings have convinced bosses that the drama is worth committing to

‘It is top-level production and directed by Guy Ritchie and has been well received by critics and, generally, by the viewers.

‘But initially all the talk was about the accents and Pierce in particular.’

The Daily Mail have contacted Paramount+ for comment.

MobLand became a huge hit when it premiered back in 2025, but one thing that got people talking was Pierce's Irish accent.

In May last year he defended his Irish accent in the show after critics claimed it was 'all over the place' - despite him being born and raised in Ireland.

In their review of the show, The Irish Independent unfavourabaly dismissed it as 'all over the place and a huge distraction.'

Speaking to the latest issue of Radio Times, the actor - who was born in Drogheda, County Louth - insisted his role as family patriarch Conrad Harrigan demanded a broader Irish accent than his own.

'My own accent is very soft,' he explained. 'Conrad’s accent is a million miles away from me.'

While the affected accent used by Conrad - who hails from Kerry on Ireland's south-west coast - has divided viewers, he admits it was inspired by a very real person, suggested by his dialect coach.

'I told him that I needed a Kerry accent,' he said. 'so he gave me the name of a man and I Googled the guy and that was it. It was a Kerry accent.

'And so, I just gave it full tilt.'

Just last month Pierce was spotted smouldering on set in a pair of sunglasses and slicked quiff - channeling his inner gangster for MobLand season two.

Taking to the set of the drama, the actor could be seen with his grey hair slicked back, as he wrapped up in a brown jacket and covered his face with sunglasses and a flat cap.

The former James Bond star's character looked to be conducting more shady business in the scenes, alongside actor Emmett J. Scanlan.

And in January, the hit Tom Hardy drama MobLand was rocked by a HUGE explosion as fire crews were called out to the set of the Guy Ritchie show.

MobLand has received an impressive 8.3 stars out of 10 on IMDB, as well as 76% on Rotten Tomatoes.
