Tom Hardy's streaming juggernaut is back on top.

Hardy and Guy Ritchie's 10-episode crime thriller TV show has returned to global streaming domination after a massive season 2 update. Hardy's movies and TV shows have garnered plenty of attention in recent years, from his starring role as Eddie Brock in the Venom trilogy, to his supporting role on the cast of Peaky Blinders.

One of his biggest roles in the 2020s has been as Harry Da Souza in MobLand, a British crime drama for Paramount+. Created by Ritchie, the show follows Hardy as a fixer for the Harrigan crime family, who helps them with threats to their business, such as rival family the Stevensons. MobLand's reviews have been stellar, with season 2 already confirmed.

Now, MobLand is back on streaming charts, returning to Paramount+'s global Top 10 list. As of January 27, 2026, the crime drama sits at Number 10 in the world on the platform, clinching Number 8 in 11 countries around the globe. This comes two weeks after it was confirmed season 2 will be arriving in 2026.

With the show returning to streaming charts ahead of MobLand season 2, it emphasizes the global anticipation for the series' return. Upon release of its first two episodes in March 2025, the series became the largest global premiere in Paramount+'s history. Its viewership went on to become the second-highest on the platform at the time, just behind Taylor Sheridan's Landman.

Relatively positive critic reviews helped its reputation, with season 1 currently sitting at a Certified Fresh 76% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 45 reviews. As reflected by its viewership, audiences are also on board with the series' high-octane premise and presentation, scoring it a 66% based on over 1,000 ratings. It makes it yet another positively-reviewed Ritchie-led production.

The cast of MobLand also aids in its success. While Hardy leads the show, Pierce Brosnan serves as Conrad Harrigan, leader of the crime family, while Geoff Bell plays Richie Stevenson, leader of the rival faction. Other notable stars include Helen Mirren, Paddy Considine, Toby Jones, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, and Anson Boon, all playing key roles in the conflicts that unfold.

With MobLand confirmed to be coming back this year, now is the perfect time to catch up on the series. As evidenced by its streaming success, the Hardy-led series has maintained plenty of global attention as its return is anticipated. As the year continues, it seems inevitable it'll rise even higher on the charts once season 2 arrives.
