First up? Mindy Kaling, who shared a look at her cake from Tom in a since-removed Instagram Story.
Over the image of the all-white cake that appeared in a box, the 45-year-old wrote Dec. 19, “IYKYK,” Translation, “If you know, you know.”
Another celebrity who gave his followers a piece of the cake (via social media) was Tom’s Top Gun: Maverick costar, Glen Powell.
Marking the occasion via his respective Instagram Story Dec. 19, Glen wrote. “The Cruise cake has arrived.”
In addition to the cake, the Anyone But You star was gifted a personalized note from the star. “To Glen Powell,” it read. “Warmest wishes to you this Holiday Season Tom Cruise.”
This isn’t the first time the Twisters star has been gifted with the cake—which has chunks of sweet white chocolate, cream cheese frosting, and it's covered in toasted coconut flakes—and can last up to four months in the freezer.
In 2022, Glen admitted that the cake has become a party favorite amongst his friends.
"So now I have a party at my house where I'll have the Cruise cake,” he told Jennifer Hudson in 2022. “It's my 'Cruise Cake Party.' And I'll invite people over to try a bite or two ... [they] can't get greedy. I really have to limit people. I can't let them come back for seconds.”
He continued, "It's usually demolished by the end of the night."
In 2018, Tom spoke about the iconic gift and revealed that he can’t consume it all the time, so there’s always enough to go around.
"I love sugar, but I can't eat it when I'm training,” he told James Cordon and Angela Bassett during 2018 appearance on The Late Late Show. “So, I send it to everyone. I sent it to the stunt team."
