Tom Brady shares RARE photos with son Jack on his 17th birthday - and reveals teen is now same height as him

Tom Brady shared some rare photos with Jack, his son he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, 53.

The snaps were part of the former NFL quarterback's birthday tribute in honor of Jack's 17th birthday.

The teenager was noticeably as tall as his 6ft4 famous father and showed off his athletic prowess right alongside the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

'Happy 17th birthday to the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful 17-year-old, I know,' his caption began. 

'You are truly a blessing in my life and I am so grateful to watch you mature into a young man. Your love of family, friends, school, athletics, hard work and dedication to everything you put your energy into are just some of your amazing qualities,' he continued.

The proud dad continued to gush: 'I love spending every minute with you and I cherish our time together.

'(Those are all my favorite things about you. My least favorite is that you can beat me in one on one now) I love you always and forever, happy birthday, dad.'

In the slideshow, Jack smiled in a selfie with his dad, golfed and hung out with his half-siblings, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, who his father shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, 44.

Jack has followed in his father's footsteps and is a quarterback on his high school football team.

'I love watching him play quarterback because I think there's very few things in life that I could probably help him with,' Brady said during his SiriusXM podcast Let's Go with Tom Brady and Larry Fitzgerald in October 2022.

'You know, I don't have a lot of specialties in life other than probably throwing the football. He's just a great kid. But I can definitely help him at quarterback.'

'[He has] great hand-eye coordination. He actually moves better than I did at his age,' he said.

Moynahan found out she was pregnant with Jack after she and Brady had broken up and he'd already moved on and fallen in love with Bündchen.

He spoke about that time in his life in an interview with Howard Stern in 2020.

'Next thing you know, I found out that Bridget was pregnant with our son,' he said.

'So that was a very unique time … and it challenged me in a lot of ways, again, to grow up in a different way. It was very hard for my wife to think she fell in love with this guy, and then now this guy's ex-girlfriend's pregnant.'

'And it was very challenging for my son's mom, you know, because she didn't envision that either,' he added. 

Moynahan got candid on that time in her life in an interview with Harper's Bazaarn 2008.

'Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me,' she told the publication.

'But I got so much out of that … Now I have a child, and it's the best thing in the world.'
