Todd Chrisley has revealed he worked as an escort at the age of 18 when he first moved to Los Angeles from South Carolina in the 1980s.
The 57-year-old reality star made the confession during a joint interview with his wife Julie Chrisley, 17 months after they were pardoned by US President Donald Trump and released from their jail sentences for fraud and tax evasion.
According to Todd, his brief stint as a gigolo began while he was a waiter at The Cheesecake Factory in the coastal neighborhood Marina Del Rey in 1986.
A group of 'six or seven' women he described as 'good-looking' ate at the restaurant together one night and astonished him by leaving an $800 tip.
'Coming from where I came from, a small little town in South Carolina, I had never seen $800 handed to me in my life,' he said on Bunnie XO's podcast Dumb Blonde.
When he emerged from the restaurant that night, one of the clients - a 38-year-old woman - made the proposition that opened the door to a new line of work.
The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Todd for comment.

He sauntered out of The Cheesecake Factory after the end of his shift thinking: 'I have made it. I have f***ing made it. I've got 800 bucks.'
Todd claimed he was then confronted with the sight of a man leaning against a parked limousine, an image that to him recalled 'an episode in Dynasty.'
Eventually, said Todd, the man walked up, introduced himself and informed the teenaged waiter: 'My lady would like to speak with you.'
In keeping with the Southern politesse he was raised to abide by, Todd acquiesced and walked over to the limousine, where the 38-year-old female passenger rolled her window down and complimented his 'service' that evening.
'Where are you heading?' she said, to which he replied: 'I just live up here on Glencoe,' prompting her to say: 'Get in. I'll drop you off.'
'Well,' Todd told Bunnie: 'she didn't drop me off. Let's just say that it turned into a very quick encounter that I'm thinking - as the sunroof was open, I'm banging this woman as we're driving through LA - this is every dream I have ever had.'
Todd then 'started seeing her' - a development by which he deduced that 'clearly the first ride was pretty good for her' - only for him to be 'devastated' eight months later when he discovered that she was married.
He claimed he continued seeing her 'for another month or so,' then drifted into a dalliance with another woman in the process of getting divorced who 'had her vagina shaved in the shape of a heart for Valentine's Day,' Todd claimed.

Todd recounted his past to podcaster Bunnie XO, who is pictured with her estranged husband Jelly Roll at this year's Grammy Awards months before the divorce announcement
When Bunnie then inquired about the size of Todd's manhood, he insisted he had 'never had a complaint' and boasted: 'It's a two-hand job.'
Before her now-collapsed marriage to country star Jelly Roll, Bunnie was herself a Las Vegas escort who occasionally earned $100,000 a night.
Bunnie, real name Alisa DeFord, led a turbulent young life that included stints as a homeless teenager and a casino call girl, as relayed in her memoir Stripped Down.
She battled addiction, had an abortion at 16, was sexually assaulted and got arrested seven times between 1999 and 2006, the years she respectively turned 19 and 26.
During his interview with Bunnie, Todd also shared his unfiltered reaction to his daughter Savannah's secret marriage to fraudster Jason Galanis.
At the age of 56, Galanis is merely one year younger than Todd and served time with him at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida.
Galanis was convicted of what the prosecution described as 'two multimillion-dollar fraud schemes' and was sentenced in September 2020 to 189 months behind bars.
A onetime business associate of Hunter Biden, Galanis testified from prison in the Republican impeachment inquiry into then-US President Joe Biden in March 2024.

Trump commuted Galanis' sentence in March 2025, two months before the Chrisley pardon, and this week news sensationally broke that Savannah, 29, had married him privately in July and they are now expecting their first baby.
'He’s 20 years older. It was not something I embraced,' Todd confessed during his new joint interview with Julie on Bunnie's podcast.
However he arrived at 'the point where I had a choice to make, it was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter,' Todd said.
'And nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter, I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No.'
However he noted that Galanis had shown 'the utmost of respect' to Savannah, who spent years vigorously lobbying for her parents' pardon while they were in jail.
Observing that Galanis was 'of his generation,' Todd joked that Savannah would 'have 20 years with him, and I’ll retire with him in the assisted living.'
