The 2026 World Cup is well underway, and with the group stage set to continue until 27 June, there are sure to be some surprises in store as the 48 competing teams vie for a place in the knockout rounds.

Who's playing in the World Cup today?
We've got four matches today, as teams continue to compete for a place in the first of two knockout rounds.
At the time of writing, Germany and Ivory Coast both lead Group E with three points each, meaning it's all to play for in today's fixture.
As for Group F, Sweden has pulled ahead into first place, but there's still time for Netherlands or Japan (in joint second at the moment) to catch up.
