TLC star Jessa Duggar, 33, reveals she is expecting seventh child with husband Ben Seewald

Jessa Duggar is expecting her seventh child with husband Ben Seewald.

The TLC star, 33, who rose to fame on 19 Kids and Counting, made the big reveal during an appearance on the Unplanned Podcast with Matt and Abby Howard.

Jessa proudly shared that she and Seewald, 31, are 'actually expecting again' and that she is 'six weeks' along in her pregnancy.

Jessa and Seewald, who have been married since 2014, are already parents to six children.

The longtime couple share sons Spurgeon Elliot, 10; Henry Wilberforce, nine; George Augustine, two; Edward Owen, one; and daughters Ivy Jane, seven, and Fern Elliana, five.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Jessa for further comment on the story. 

In a preview for the podcast episode, Matt had asked Seewald if Jessa's father Jim Bob Duggar intimidated him during the early days of his and Jessa's relationship.

'I mean a little bit,' Seewald admitted. 'But also, if he doesn't like me then I'm still single.'

Matt then said in jest, 'And there's multiple other daughters,' which drew laughter in the room.

Jessa revealed that she had welcomed her sixth child, Edward Owen, in an August 2025 YouTube vlog in which she had her mother Michelle Duggar next to her at the time.

Three months earlier, she said in a YouTube that she was put off by a number of trolls who offered unsolicited opinions on her decision to have a large family.

'When it comes to people saying negative opinions,' she said, 'I know this is not the case for everyone, but for me personally, I've never had anybody walk up to my face and be nasty.

'I have heard a lot of rude and unnecessary comments, but generally those are just online.'

Jessa, whose mother Michelle and father Jim Bob are parents to 19 children, responded to a commenter who said she had been trying to follow in the 'footsteps' of her mother.

'I'm not going to have 19 kids, but honestly, my mom is my hero - I love her,' Jessa said. 'She is my role model in so many ways.'

Jessa lauded her mother for 'patience,' 'love,' and 'gentleness,' calling her 'the golden example of a mother.'

'When people say, 'Do you want to be like your mother?' I'm like, 'Yes, please, Lord, help me.''

Jessa previously told People she and Seewald had planned on having 'a big family' in an April 2014 interview, six months prior to their wedding.

'We are talking about our goals and the future with family,' Jessa said. 'We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too.'
