Olyphant's new R-rated thriller first found streaming success on another home before its long run on AMC+. Back in June, Over Your Dead Body became the most-watched movie on Prime Video worldwide, though it was not available on the streaming service in the United States. At the time, it ranked higher than movies like Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan: Ghost War and Sydney Sweeney's The Housemaid.

Olyphant Will Keep His Streaming Crown In 2027

Over Your Dead Body's new streaming milestone on AMC+ will soon be followed by more streaming hits from Olyphant. The actor is set to reprise his role as James Stacy from Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in David Fincher's The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, which arrives on Netflix on December 23 after a brief theatrical run and should be a streaming hit well into 2027. Additionally, Alien: Earth season 2 is expected to premiere in 2027, and it should return as a streaming sensation on Hulu and Disney+ in the US and worldwide, carrying Over Your Dead Body's momentum for Olyphant.
