The actor, 30, stars as the titular character in the sports drama about the table tennis dynamo and posed for photos on the red carpet at the Grand Rex Cinema in Paris.
It's been a busy week for Timothée, who was left flustered after being asked a wedding question about his girlfriend Kylie Jenner as he promoted the film in London earlier this week.
After touching down in the French capital just hours after the Q&A in the UK, he changed into a tan, double breasted blazer.
Timothée added a matching pair of baggy trousers, layered a white shirt underneath and topped his outfit off with smart black shoes.
During an event in London, he was awkwardly asked a question about his girlfriend Kylie at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square.

The actor has been dating the beauty mogul for three years and the pair have been putting on a rather loved up display during this year's awards season.
And wondering whether Timothee could be on the cusp of popping the question, Richard Curtis boldly asked the Hollywood star: 'Can we come to the wedding?' during their chat.
Avoiding the question, he replied: 'That's so personal, No I'm probably gonna get in trouble man.
Asking again Richard repeated: 'Can we come?' as Timothee joked: 'Who is we? The whole crowd'.
Richard then joked: 'I think you better say no to that'.
Timothee and Kylie have been putting on a more public display of affection in recent weeks after the actor paid tribute to her at his speech at the Critics Choice Awards.
After winning the Best Actor award he said: 'Lastly, I'll just say, thank you to my partner of three years,' as he made eye contact with the 28-year-old cosmetics mogul.
'Thank you for our foundation,' Timothée continued as Kylie smiled sweetly up at him from their table in the audience at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. 'I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.'

The insider claims the next step already feels inevitable, revealing that Kylie has begun referring to Timothee as her ‘husband.’
‘Kylie definitely runs the show, and Timothée loves it,’ the source added. ‘It is a great balance between both of their personalities, and it works.’
A source claimed to Page Six that the couple have been living together in Los Angeles for more than a year and behave 'like they're basically married already.'
'They're obsessed with each other and always together,' the insider added.
