Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are 'talking engagement' as she already calls him 'husband'

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s romance is going from strength to strength - and a major next step may be on the horizon.

The Marty Supreme actor and the beauty mogul are reportedly ‘very serious’ and have ‘talked about getting engaged this year,’ according to a USWeekly source.

The insider claims the next step already feels inevitable, revealing that Jenner has begun referring to Chalamet as her ‘husband.’

‘Kylie definitely runs the show, and Timothée loves it,’ the source added. ‘It is a great balance between both of their personalities, and it works.’ 

The news comes after the couple appeared relaxed and giddy as they arrived hand in hand at a private airport terminal, where they were spotted boarding a sleek private jet for a romantic getaway last week.

It also comes as the pair are said to be living together, with Chalamet becoming involved in the lives of Jenner’s children, Stormi, 7, and Aire, 3, whom she shares with Travis Scott.

A source claimed to Page Six that the couple have been living together in Los Angeles for more than a year and behave 'like they're basically married already.'

'They're obsessed with each other and always together,' the insider added.

Their increasingly intertwined lives have not gone unnoticed by Kylie’s famous family. Kim and Khloé Kardashian recently offered a rare glimpse into the relationship, revealing the affectionate nickname they use for Chalamet.

During a recent episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, Kim shared details of an intimate family dinner she hosted in Malibu, where Kylie and her Oscar-nominated boyfriend were in attendance. 

The Skims founder said the pair ‘had the best time,’ describing the low-key gathering as unusually relaxed and joyful.

Khloé admitted the night was memorable for more reasons than one. 

‘I wasn’t there for like 10 minutes and left, I was so proud of myself for staying because I’m normally the one to be the first to dip,’ she said.

Kim echoed the sentiment, revealing Kylie was the life of the party. ‘I was so proud Kylie came. She stayed til 1:30 in the morning, she was the first one there and the last to leave which is insane,’ she said.

Khloé added that Kylie and ‘Timmy’ were inseparable throughout the evening. 

‘I was so proud of her and her and Timmy they had the best time,’ she said, prompting Kim to agree: ‘The best time.’

Khloé later joked that the intimate celebration left her ‘exhausted’ and ‘beat,’ though she admitted it was well worth it.

The family insight came just days after Jenner and Chalamet were spotted enjoying a romantic escape to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, shortly after the actor’s historic Oscar nomination. 

The famously private couple appeared more loved-up than ever as they relaxed at a secluded waterfront property before boarding a luxury boat and mingling casually with other guests.

Their getaway reportedly followed a rare public date night at celebrity hotspot Flora Farms, where an eyewitness said the pair seemed completely absorbed in one another. 

While they kept public displays of affection to a minimum, the source described Chalamet as visibly ‘smitten.’

The Cabo trip also capped off a highly visible awards season for the actor, during which he made several public acknowledgments of Jenner. 

At the Golden Globes, Chalamet referred to Kylie as his ‘partner’ during his acceptance speech, telling the audience: ‘To my parents and partner, I love you.’

Weeks later, he echoed the sentiment while accepting Best Actor at the Critics Choice Awards. 

‘And lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years,’ he said. ‘Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you.’

Jenner was later spotted mouthing, ‘I love you too,’ before the couple shared a kiss.

The affectionate moments marked a stark contrast to reports late last year suggesting the relationship had cooled. 

In November, a source claimed the pair were in a ‘cool-down cycle,’ describing the romance as on-again, off-again rather than definitively over.

‘They cool down and they heat up,’ the insider said at the time.

Despite the heightened attention, Jenner and Chalamet have continued to guard their privacy. 

Neither frequently posts about the relationship, and both have stressed the importance of keeping their romance largely out of the public eye.

The pair were first linked in April 2023 and went public later that year when they were spotted kissing at a Beyoncé concert.

Although they’ve been seen together at high-profile events, they’ve avoided discussing the relationship on The Kardashians and rarely mention each other in interviews.

Claims have previously circulated that the discretion stemmed from Chalamet’s desire to maintain his reputation as a serious actor - though recent months suggest the couple may be increasingly comfortable letting the world in.
