This Plumping Lip Gloss Is a Game Changer For My Everyday Makeup Routine

As much as I still consider myself a makeup novice, there's one beauty product I can confidently say I've mastered: lip gloss. What's there not to love about the Forget the Filler Plumping Gloss? I tried the three newest shades from the brand's Strawberry Sugar collection and was instantly impressed. I did a test on bare lips and my go-to lip liner, and found that strawberry shortcake and strawberry popsicle worked best for my skin tone (and obsession with strawberry-flavored/scented products). The lather during application was particularly noteworthy for me. Usually, I have to keep rubbing my lips together until I get a balanced gloss-to-liner finish, but the Forget the Filler looked seamless immediately. And being that I love to layer my makeup products, I found that these two shades worked well together on top of my liner, instantly elevating my everyday makeup.

The Forget the Filler Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss also contains a plumping agent called Maxi-Lip (comprised of natural peptides and hyaluronic acid) that promises to increase your lip volume by 40 percent. I have pretty full lips already, so I didn't get that drastic filler-like effect. However, I did experience a slight tingle which made my lips appear subtly plumper, along with that satisfying shine I look for when trying a new gloss. I also loved its smooth and hydrating texture that allowed the gloss to last for a long time; unlike the overly sticky formula of some of my other glosses which require frequent application.
