I recently got to go hands-on with the all-new Samsung R95H at the ZDNET testing lab in Louisville, and I was impressed with the bold, bright colors and deep, inky blacks it produced. With a picture quality that has the potential to rival, or even surpass, OLED models, the R95H is a worthy upgrade to any home theater or living room. And right now at Best Buy, you can save up to $1,000 on one, with the 85-inch version offering the highest discount.
Also: Samsung OLED vs. QLED vs. Micro RGB
The new Micro RGB panel uses much smaller LEDs that include red, green, and blue colors to create up to 100% of the BT.2020 color spectrum. This means you'll get an incredible image with fine details and sharp contrast, similar to what you'll find in a high-end OLED model.
In both standard and high definition testing, color accuracy was fairly consistent, which means you'll spend less time recalibrating your picture settings and more time enjoying your favorite content. The matte display also helps to cut annoying glare and reflections that can distract you and ruin your visibility -- especially at odd viewing angles.

The impressive picture is also backed up by a solid sound system featuring Samsung's Object Tracking Sound+ technology as well as Dolby Atmos virtual surround sound for 3D spatial audio that follows the on-screen action. And if you want even more robust audio, you can easily connect both wired and wireless speakers, soundbars, and subwoofers to the TV for a custom sound system. Console gamers can also take advantage of the FreeSync Premium Pro VRR support that prevents screen tearing and stuttering, as well as the 165Hz native refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity for the ultimate gaming screen.
