This Is Us star Chris Sullivan looked worlds away from his character Toby Damon as he appeared on his podcast on Tuesday.

The actor, 44, starred on the NBC drama for it's entire six years between 2016 and 2022 and left the show when it ended, just before welcoming his second child with his wife Rachel.

Now, he spends his free time running the That Was Us podcast alongside some of his co-stars.

The podcast also stars Mandy Moore and Sterling K. Brown as the trio dive back into the world of the Pearsons, reliving each episode and all the life lessons, as well as welcoming different guests.

With no beard in sight, a trimmer frame, and a very different sense of style, Chris looks unrecognisable and nothing like the character is he is best known for.

In the most recent episode of the podcast, Chris sported a black and grey denim-look beanie and funky orange-tinted glasses.

His signature beard is also nowhere to be seen as he opted for a minimal amount of stubble instead.

The actor also showcased his quirky sense of style in previous episodes, donning an array of colourful patterned shirts and hats.

In the weekly series, Chris, Mandy, and Sterling share never-before-seen behind the scenes moments, as well as digging deep and having tough conversations.

In the most recent episode, the stars explored the pivotal moments and defining experiences of the Pearson family in their twenties.

They were also joined by Zoe Hay, the makeup artist from This Is Us who shared behind-the-scenes insights and revealed the secrets behind those iconic Pearson looks.

Chris and his wife Rachel Reichard welcomed their second child in October 2022, a baby daughter.

They posted a clip to Instagram, writing, 'Please meet AOIFE BEA! She came 3 weeks early, fully grown, healthy and VERY strong. A super fast and smooth delivery (much to her mother's relief).'

The couple, who exchanged vows in 2010 and welcomed son Bear in July 2020, said their son was 'enamored and overjoyed to welcome his sister home, telling everyone "baby coming!" the day she was born.'

He added: 'She has immediately captured our hearts and doubled the love.'

Announcing the pregnancy in May of 2022, he said:'We have wrapped my final scenes for #thisisus,' the Emmy-winning actor said. 'What an incredible 6 years these have been. With every end, there is a new beginning … so here is a trailer of what's to come.'

Sullivan, who has also been seen on The Knick and Stranger Things, took to the site after his son was born in July of 2020 to reflect on the emotional experience.

'Witnessing @therealrachelsullivan bring our first son into this world, after 20 hours of labor, was one of the great honors of my life,' he said. 'It was primal and intentional and I have never been more in love with this powerful woman.'

He told ET at the time they had 'gotten into a pretty good rhythm of getting each other to sleep and rest. And then we've got a little bit of help here at home ... I'm still running on mostly adrenaline. Adrenaline and pure joy.'

In October 2022, Sullivan received a number of congratulatory responses on the post from castmates on the NBC hit, as Mandy Moore wrote, 'Can’t wait to meet her!! Congrats sweet Sullivan fam!!!!' while Susan Kelechi Watson wrote, 'My heart.'

Caitlin Thompson said, 'So sweet! Can’t wait to meet her!'
