The last time we saw Samsung’s top-selling Galaxy Tab A9+ tablet plunge into $100 territory was in January, and we thought it was just a case of holiday hangover. But here we are again — Samsung’s offering a $60 instant discount and sweetening the pot with up to $60 in trade-in credit to bring their newest tablet down to $100.
This is the 64GB Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab A9+, with 4GB of RAM and enough premium features to way overperform its price tag and make you wonder why it’s technically a mid-range tablet. Samsung’s mid-range, of course, would be top-shelf for many of their competitors.
Center of Your Galaxy
Hard to believe you’d need an excuse to take home a great Android table released just months ago when it’s available for as little as $100, but if you already have some of Samsung’s other great Galaxy devices, like Galaxy Buds or one of the new Galaxy smartphones, connecting them with the Tab A9+ takes seconds.
Even if you’re not immersed in the Galaxy universe of portable devices, the Tab A9+ stands tall on its own. The 11-inch display is clear and beautiful at 1920 x 1200 resolution, with a 90Hz refresh rate. When you’re not using easy-to-pair earbuds or wireless headphones, built-in quad speakers with Dolby Atmos sound bring your streaming or games to life loud and clear.
The potential $100 price tag is on the 64GB model of the Galaxy Tab A9+, but before you scroll away in search of bigger storage, you can easily expand this one up to 1TB with a Micro SD card.
Work or Play All Day
When you’re in productivity mode, you’ll appreciate the Galaxy Tab A9+’s side-by-side multitasking that lets you have multiple apps open and visible at the same time, and when you’re ready to kick back with a game or some streaming content, the 5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 connections and fast octa-core processor will let you enjoy your downtime without frustrating lag. When you put those connections to use for a video call or conference, or just to shoot still or video images, the 5.0MP front camera and 8.0MP rear cameras are at the ready.
A $60 markdown on the Galaxy Tab A9+ by itself should have you reaching for your wallet, but when you add the potential for another $60 on top of that in the form of trade-in credit, a very good $220 Android tablet is suddenly transformed into a spectacular $100 tablet that you’ll be using every day for work and play.
