Soundcore's newest sleep earbuds come with features that could get you to sleep faster. The mobile accessories brand announced today its third-generation sleep earbuds, the Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds, that at long last come with active noise cancellation.
Smart ANC and AI binaural beats
The new Sleep A30 minimizes up to 30 decibels of noise with its Smart ANC technology. Its case also features adaptive snore-masking technology, which detects snoring and generates noise-masking audio that reduces the volume and frequency of snores.

On the topic of the earbuds' audio, these new sleep earbuds come with AI-powered, scenario-based binaural beat "brainwave audio" in the app that, according to Soundcore, stimulates the brain to produce a calming sensation and help the wearer sleep.
If users want to stream music or soundscapes outside of the Soundcore app, like Spotify or Apple Music, the earbuds provide 6.5 hours of playback and up to 35 hours of total playtime. For users listening to soundscapes stored within the earbuds, they get nine hours of playback and up to 45 hours of total playtime.
For those interested in tracking their sleep with the earbuds, the Sleep A30 also features sleep monitoring and position tracking.

Users can expect these earbuds to have a thinner build compared with older generations, making them ideal for side-sleepers and reducing in-ear pressure buildup throughout the night.
Availability
I've tested the Sleep A30's predecessor, the Sleep A20, and while I thought they would be great for those looking to fall asleep to ambient noise, they weren't ideal for canceling out distractions that would keep someone up at night. That's because the A20 is equipped with "noise masking" technology -- but no active noise cancellation. The ANC feature in the new generation is a welcome addition that I'm eager to test out.

The new earbuds are available in white and mist green, and retail for $230. You can pre-order them on Kickstarter starting Monday, and purchase them from Soundcore and Amazon starting in August.
